I like to hold hands in public. I like to hug hello and kiss goodbye. I like to cuddle on the couch and spoon in bed (not the whole night, kinda hurts my shoulder after a while).
I'm funny and kind, but also kinda obnoxious sometimes too.
I've also got characteristics that are usually considered to be mutually exclusive: I'm a tech geek with an obsessive-compulsive streak for working out; I'm pretty good with both chess pieces and motorcycles; I can tell the dirtiest jokes you've never heard but am amazingly good with children; I love playing sports and hate watching them; I can fix your computer but still kick your meat-head ex-boyfriend's ass (you remember him, the tall one with the big arms and tight t-shirts with the puzzled look on his face whenever you used polysyllabic words?) ... that kind thing.
Chicks dig me and guys want to be like me. Or maybe girls roll their eyes at me and guys laugh at me behind my back. It can be hard to tell.
My Myers-Briggs is STFU. I'm a Gemini but I don't believe in astrology, which is totally typical of Geminis. I'm a devout atheist. I bought an old girlfriend a mood ring and it really worked: when she was happy, it turned blue; when she was mad, it left a big red mark on my forehead.
* It's been said that the reasonable man adapts himself to suit the world, while the unreasonable man persists in endeavoring to adapt the world to suit himself. Therefore, all progress depends upon the unreasonable man.
I start companies with widely varying degrees of success. I worked part time at a philanthropic foundation; turns out giving away money is hard, assuming you want anything good to come of it. Now I work part time advising a big tech company, it supports my startup habit. I've made it to 6 continents so far, traveled places from Buenos Aires to Baghdad and have been over and around much of the world.
I'm also a superhero.
Movies: Empire Strikes Back to Team America ... I also liked the Twilight Saga, even dragged a date to the last one. It is entirely possible I am the perfect man.
Music: something with umph to it
Food: not moving
am I too literal?
are the generally accepted next three.
Also, I spend a fair amount of time thinking about the creatures I love. I never think about sex. Then work/money. Sometimes sex. Then responsibilities. Then sex again. Then things that I find funny. Then playing. Plus and also sex.
At least I'm honest about it. I think anyone who doesn't have "sex" in his or her answer is either lying or is so repressed as to be dangerous to trust. Like might show up to work with an assault rifle in order to make a few punctuated points about how unfair it is he has to hide his severed head collection in his basement so the government doesn't take it away when it really belongs in a museum kind of repressed.
...and I have what is possibly an unhealthy attachment to my cat.
Seriously? Okay, just for a minute. You are someone who believes in herself, is grounded, well-rounded and emotionally stable. Someone who holds herself to high standards in all aspects of her life but still has a sense of humor. Someone I can see myself someday trusting with the rest of my life, someone I feel deep down is or will be a good mother to her children, someone whom I just know is a solid person the first time I meet her ...
Apparently this is all too much to ask so, I dunno, maybe I'll just get a dog.
