My self-summary
Nomadic rogue seeking gypsy princess. Geek, clown, tramp, spy in the house of love, wild animal, chaotic good bard, minimalist, weirdo.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm traveling on a journey of healing. I work as an engineer designing medical equipment used in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, but I can work from anywhere, and I'm my own boss. I play guitar, explore the outdoors, and study the world. I'm a bit of a dilettante and I'm very involved with the Progressive movement
I’m really good at
Cultivating credentials, honoring commitments, and believing with conviction that my word is a magical bond. I have no natural talents besides a willingness to work very hard. Someone once told me that sucking at something is the first step towards being pretty good at something and it changed my life. I'll pass on that wisdom every opportunity that I get. My favorite activity is the one I have yet to try.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Music: rock, folk, trip hop, klezmer, reggae, ska, power metal, classical, punk, country, dubstep. I especially like almost anything acoustic. My favorite bands for this second are sublime, the doors, nahko bear and medicine for the people, fairport convention, Cold War kids, Lana del Rey, led zepplin, rush, the Beatles, they might be giants, MeWithoutYou, janes addiction, Johnny cash, primus, Gogol bordello, kings of Leon, beats antique, sunset rubdown, anything jack white or spencer krug touches, Andrew bird, muse, black keys, alt j, gwar, elvenking, Ani DiFranco, against me!, ayreon, sonata arctica, steeleye span

Books: A song of ice and fire. Kingkiller chronicles. The bus driver who thought he was god. Hemingway is one of my heroes (the sun also rises) as well as Richard Feynman (surely you're joking mr. Feynman)

Other heroes: Bernie sanders (outsider in the house) and Steve Irwin (crocodile hunter)

Movies: wristcutters: a love story, repo: the genetic opera, the crow, labyrinth, natural born killers, most Disney movies, toxic avenger, 80s b flicks and troma flicks, howls moving castle and every studio ghibli movie, mindfuck movies, fantasy movies that aren't awful/on the sci fi channel.
Tv: ¡¡¡¡ADVENTURE TIME!!!!, Over The Garden Wall, rick and morty, John Oliver, Trailer park boys, black Jesus, Archer, arrested development, 7 deadly sins, always sunny, parks and recreation, my name is earl, game of thrones(stopped watching after it started deviating from books), breaking bad, walking dead, once upon a time

Food: anything exotic. French food, sushi, Indian food, Thai food, Peruvian food, Moroccan food, seafood, health food, kippers, spinach, eggs, gamey meats, jerky, caviar. When I eat out I tend to have whatever is the strangest thing I can find, or anything I can't pronounce.
The six things I could never do without
There were lots of things and abstract notions I thought I couldn't be without, but life has been about showing me how to get by without the things I thought I needed. Things I have now that I hope I never lose again: Freedom and an indomitable spirit. My most valued possessions on the road are my guitar and my grandma's tarot cards. I deeply appreciate my hair product; and packing cubes form my line between order and chaos. Oh, and as a bonus, you'll likely never, ever see me without a bandana
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Lately I day dream a lot of smoking by the river after a long day of work while we all play music and sing and pretty girls are hooping and children run around and play until the fire dies down and it's time for bed. This was one of my happiest times in recent memory. I listen to our recordings whenever I want to relive it and feel really happy
"I want a puppy..."
On a typical Friday night I am
Making friends, loving friends, or leaving friends. I work during the week so Friday is sometimes my day to embark towards a new destination. Feel like keeping me company on a road trip?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I enjoy running, barefoot, through the woods, as hard as I can, while pounding on my chest like an enraged gorilla.
You should message me if
I've heard curses can be broken with love. Help me out.

If the spirit of adventure calls to you so loudly that you chase it with reckless abandon; if the unknown excites you, and passion for life sets your heart on fire, I've been waiting to know you.

I really like artists of all kinds, but music and dance especially speak to me. If you play music or sing I'd really like to meet you!

I spent a month in Colorado at a spiritual camp by a river, doing yoga, meditation, communal labor, smoking, and jamming with people. I'd like to find another community like that

Unless you're eager to meet up somewhat immediately we probably won't at all.
