My self-summary
Hello! I'm looking to have fun, whether that's in finding the humour in a moment of sadness, in a walking adventure where we get totally lost trying to find a recommended secluded beach, realising that that last single malt we just had to try was one too far, or trying to keep our hands off each other because the sexual tension is electrifying, or pulling each other closer to each other when we realise we're sharing one of those special moments that crops up at a gig or festival every so often to listening to some dub on a Sunday morning whilst reading the Sunday papers on the meadows the day after any of the above has happened.

As for me, well let's talk about that if and hopefully when we meet up...
What I’m doing with my life
A bit of an oil tanker that has veered off course and likes what he sees but wants to try a new direction altogether. Lots of shifts of momentum but is full of optimism for what lies ahead.

Yes; there! I have fitted an oil tanker into my life description!
I’m really good at
A regular praise of the softness of my hands' touch means a good head, shoulders and back massage is never far away.

Putting people (sometimes perfect strangers) at ease.

Understanding - people or stuff.

Usually quite an astute judge of character from very little time with someone.
The first things people usually notice about me
Not sure?
I think it's probably that I look a bit serious/broody, but pleasantly surprise people with a good sense of humour. Unless ofcourse they are humouring me just to get me the fuck away from them.....?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
At the time of writing...

Book: A Revolutionary Life (Che Guevara biography) I don't read enough to be fair.

Music: The Specials, Susumo Yokota, Arcade Fire, Bjork, Steely Dan, Nick Drake, Toots and the Maytals, War on Drugs, Vangellis and Moricone scores, Radiohead, Metronomy, Future Islands (the lead singer rules!) Stevie Wonder, Dizzee Rascal.

Shows: Sopranos, 24, Inbetweeners, Northern Exposure, Spaced, Grand Designs, IT Crowd, The Day Today, The Walking Dead, Arrested Development, Homeland, GoT, Boardwalk Empire, Master Chef Professionals. And the fucking WIRE!

Movie: Hanna (awesome soundtrack too), The Thin Red Line, Heat, Boyhood, Under the Skin, United 93 (anything Greengrass really), Mad Max (Imperator Furiosa is an awesome character!), Good Fellas, Big, Bladerunner, Berbarian Sound System, Punch Drunk Love.

Food: a cheat really as it's a drink - Old Jamaica Grape Soda (brings back childhood memories of swimming pools and flumes), owt Thai, mango, desserts of virtually any kind and I do like making them.
The six things I could never do without
A smartphone - in the end there are some apps that simplify life immeasurably - namely BBC Radio app (6Music please), Edin bus app had saved me years of looking for and waiting at bus stops and even groceries apps for your shopping lists

Laughter - mine and others'

A brew

Ability to laugh at oneself

Special occasions

I spend a lot of time thinking about
What would be my ideal playlist for songs to wake up to.

Where will I visit next in this great world? I fancy Japan one day.
On a typical Friday night I am
Rarely had a typical friday for as long as I can remember. As such no penchant for one thing or another. And totally depends on how long a week it's been.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'll admit to being quite private.
You should message me if
If anything I've put here tickles your interest. There's more to us all than these words and algorithmic results.
