My self-summary
Brooklyn born and bred. Ever been to Bay Ridge?

I'm an active guy. I like being outdoors moving around. I like to bike and run (rarely exceeding two miles) I read a lot for leisure and it's also a significant part of my career. I'm a cerebral person but I do enjoy indulging in some pleasures.

I'm an art and music enthusiast. I generally attend classical or jazz concerts. Recently I've been to the Miller Theater at Columbia and the NY Philharmonic. I've yet to see a concert at Carnegie Hall so that's definitely on my to do list. I also enjoy the ballet and modern dance. I saw Paul Taylor last year at Lincoln Center. It was outstanding.
I'm not narrow-minded in my interests and certainly appreciate pop music too. Driving to work I'll generally listen to jazz or classical, which are conducive to relaxation and concentration, both useful for teaching. On the way home I'm just as likely to be pumping rock or rap on the radio.

I enjoy cooking and have a solid repertoire.

I'm newly single after an eighteen month relationship. So I reactivated this profile hoping to meet a nice young lady.
