My self-summary
I think of myself as an average guy. I'm smart enough for some people to actually think I'm smart. I'm good looking enough to not be considered dog meat. I have good grammar, but I'm not above swearing. I'm good at what I do, but not uppity about it. I'm confident yet neurotic. I'm ethical, but I'll lie to you about your weight. I'm average.

Here are a few things that are more specific. I have a dry sense of humor and I'm used to people not getting my jokes. Really, it's okay with me ...we all have our crosses to bear. I'm a city boy at heart; an avid indoorsman. The outdoors is fine though - I love summer and beaches. I'm drawn toward artistic expression, and have ample outlets for it. I'm also athletic, very much in shape (although slender) and I'm addicted to basketball. Hmm, what else ...I'm a deep thinker, but I'm not above laughing at an Adam Sandler movie. By profession I'm a comedian, but nobody would ever guess that upon first meeting. I guess most of us are just a bundle of contradictions. Anyone who isn't, probably is boring. I'm not sure about that theory though. .
What I’m doing with my life
After fulfilling my family responsibilities for the past 20 years, I now have my life back ...and I love it. I'm happier (and older) than I've ever been in my life. I have a side business in video production that I love - lots of detail, lots of creatively. Also working on a cooking show for myself. Whether I'm performing or working on other projects I really love what I do.
I’m really good at
Breaking tension
Forgiving quickly and moving forward
Italian cooking
parallel parking
The first things people usually notice about me
It must be my nose because it seems to arrive before I do. I used to think it would be my nicely shaped ears, but lately I've noticed their flaws too. I look at myself daily in an 8x magnification mirror ...not advisable.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Prince of Tides would have to be my favorite novel of all time. Also like history and historical fiction, especially if it has to do with the Roman Empire because they were genuine lunatics. I read tech articles and instructional books every day, but don't worry, I don't talk about them.

Top movies - Godfather I & II, Apocalypse Now, Annie Hall, 8 1/2 (Fellini version), Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Groundhog's Day, Mulholland Drive, Hustle & Flow, Magnolia, Blue Velvet, Fight Club, Oh Brother Where Art Thou, Stardust Memories, Crash

Music - I like it all, except for maybe ethnic folk music. Penchant for blues, but I like everything from the Beatles (my favorite) to Obie Trice and even some of Randy Travis ...pretty wide spectrum. I get on youtube binges watching old stuff from time to time. It's amazing what's out there.

I love Italian food, but only my own and a few restaurants around the country ( I know, pretty snobby). Also love Vietnamese, Indian, Mexican, Thai and a good ole burger - the bison burger at Burning Bush Grille would be my fav in town (their secret is oak charcoal).
Six things I could never do without
my camera
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to raise my kid.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually doing something ...anything. Eating out is probably my favorite thing, but I have to come up with more stuff to do. I'm considering taking up drinking. I may start tonight.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
That I laughed uncontrollably at the scene in Hall Pass where the woman sitting on the ledge of the bathtub sneezes. Luckily, you didn't see the movie so you don't know what I'm talking about.
