My self-summary
Writer at night and programmer by day, I'm a quiet guy that usually says too much.
I'm too little butter spread too much bread. Never enough time to get everything done

I have a degree in math. Don't ask me why. I'm still figuring it out.

Writing is the biggest part of my life. On an ordinary night you'll find me at the corner of a bar, leaning over a notebook with a pint of Guinness beside it, trying get the voices out of my head :)
I design and write video games, so I guess it makes me an artsy geek.
I read a lot, at least when my cat doesn't sit on my books and demands attention. Recently the cute bastard picked up the habit of kicking all the books off of my library.
I like to collect random pieces of information on pretty much everything, so don't be surprised if I pull immigration data of Scandinavians to the post civil-war USA in the middle of a fiery debate. It's that random.
Somehow I became kick ass at "Six Degrees to Kevin Bacon". Now if only I could figure out a way to integrate that as a skill on my CV...
I love hiking, but I don't get to do that as often as I would want to. I used to be a swimming teacher. I cycle regularly, I box, and have recently started dancing lindy-hop. It's a lot of fun!

All this self describing is making me feel like a narcissistic prick, so you'll have to pry the rest out of me...
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a software engineer in a startup company.
I write, mostly prose, sometimes poetry, and I'm working on publishing some stories. I'm also promoting poetry events.
I'm designing and writing an indie video game with a friend.
I’m really good at
Creative writing, Gourmet Cooking, Debating, Dismantling things to see how they work, Movie Trivia, Giving massages
The first things people usually notice about me
I have purple skin (not really :))

I'd say probably that I'm hard to agitate.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Don Delillo, Michael Cunningham, Kurt Vonnegut, Robert Heinlein, Orson Scott Card, Philip K. dick, Alan Moore, Troy Denning, Philip Athans, R.A. Salvatore, Haruki Murakami, Erich Fromm

I try to hit a concert at least once a week, because live music touches my soul...

Movies: Too many to mention. Mostly the ones that make you think, though I enjoy the occasional fun random explosion.

Food: Big on spicy (Not the kind that Israelis define as spicy. The kind that brings tears to your eyes.). But I'll cook or eat pretty pretty much anything that is not loaded with dairy or sugar.
Six things I could never do without
Home cooked meals
My cat (I know he's not gonna last forever, but we don't mention that, so shhh)
Video games (Guess I could do without them, but I'll be very very sad)
Good Companionship
Wikipedia (Seriously, how did we live before it)?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Stories to write, and what medium will they be delivered in
On a typical Friday night I am
Spending time with my family, then hanging out with friends. There has to be a very good reason for me to go out on a Friday...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I write poetry, my privacy is dead. I have a notebook to prove it :)

You are free of the idea of gender roles in a relationship (or in society, for that matter). You're interested in someone that thinks out of the box. And if when asked to describe yourself, your immediate answer doesn't include only your age, profession, and place of residence.
