My self-summary
Oscillating between sprightly cheer and ominous candor without warning, this hippy-hypocrite tries hard to listen to people and watch the world openly.

I'm into musical, arty, creative idealism. Cynicism masking idealism works fine. I like the strange ones. I get turned off by ego, talking about money or why so and so is a terrible person (although I guess there's a time and place for all of that, I dunno).

an eco-feminist, anti-racist, subvertising, psychedelic force to be reckoned with

Less pretentious than this is already making me seem?
What I’m doing with my life
Resisting the urge to curl up in a ball and cry when considering this question.

Trying to figure out how I can be of service to an earth that is suffering.

I make a computer game about meditation and memory and pretty lights and animals and space and while I'm deeply grateful to be paid to make art, I don't want to make entertainment any more. I'm tired of spending so much time behind a computer screen. I'm happiest when moving: dancing, doing yoga or running.

I sell flowers.

I make psychedelic ink drawings.

I'd like to meet inspiring people and good listeners and continue to grow (ideally not vertically, I can clear 6`6 with my hair in a bun)
I’m really good at
Staring at trees/animals/fungi/strange buildings

Being excited or amused by things that seem normal or NOT FUNNY MATTHEW to others

Jumping up and falling down levels of self awareness

Hissing like a snake
The first things people usually notice about me
I look a tiny bit like a lost child.

I look around a lot; at things in the sky or curious tree branches or the other folks with eyes above screens.

My silly long hair or, if it's cut, the zone of its longing absence
(edit: It's not. It's gloriously/disastrously long)

Ask them. I'd be genuinely interested

Six things I could never do without
Do what?

I really like soothing sounds: certain kinds of voices and low bass.

I'm frustratingly tied to my computer/access to the internet, a tether I'm all about figuring out how to break.

I think communication and empathy are really important; and especially difficult in our culture.

Non-human animals
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Ecological inter-dependencies

How to help people and how many voices seem to be crying out to be heard.

How humans can take care of each other in a way that has nothing to do with desire

Whatever I'm looking at

Bio-luminescent jellyfish

Weird and wonderful shit

On a typical Friday night I am
not that interested that it's Friday night. I'm pretty happy trying any new thing. Very hip/ankle oriented dancing style.

Oh, I'm developing a dance space that caters to nervous dancers and those who aint a huge fan of the gropey dance vibes in most clubs. Work in progress but I'm excited about it!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'll never love you as much as I love the pigeon with brown and beige wings that frequents my flower stand. I know. You're cool and smart and change the world and everything, but that pigeon... it's hard to know where to start
You should message me if
You have something relatively nice or educational to say

You like animals. Totally fine if you dislike a bunch of em but if you deeply believe that humans are superior to other creatures there may be disagreements

You have a soothing voice

You wanna recommend me songs

You enjoy play, dreaming, or ways of losing control

You wanna start a subvertising/street art gang that changes the god. damn. world
The two of us
