My self-summary
I try my best to keep up with the world. I'm a fan of most sports, video games, and board games. I've been skiing since I was four, although that's harder to do living this far south now. I'm always a fan of going out, usually to low-key bars, and I'm not embarrassed by my poor dancing. I have three tattoos. I think board games are a lot of fun.

I believe in Science!. I am afraid of clowns. I love to travel, and have a heavy case of wanderlust. I can't sing but I sometimes try to anyway. I used to be an actor; kinda, sorta. I usually wear sunglasses in photos because the flash makes my eyes close. I am on this site because, what the hell; right?
What I’m doing with my life
Living it. Part of which involves working in government consulting.
I’m really good at
figuring out rules to complicated games, making a scene when circumstances require it, and going both blue and dark with jokes.
The first things people usually notice about me
is that I apparently look vaguely like Matt Damon. I dunno.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Favorite Books: A Song of Ice and Fire, Gone Away World, all of Discworld, and anything by Neil Gaiman

Movies: Casablanca, LA Confidential, The Princess Bride, The Godfather, The Thin Man, Memento, The Year of Living Dangerously, Star Wars

TV Shows: Futurama, The Wire, Game of Thrones, Parks and Recreation, Arrested Development, Firefly, 30 Rock, Buffy, Archer,

Music: My tastes change over time. The Dropkick Murphys, Muse, Pearl Jam, Blink-182, Abney Park, Explosions in the Sky, and The Beatles are constants. I'm going through a synthwave period right now.

Food: Sushi and Steak. The new surf n' turf. I can also make some mean stews.
Six things I could never do without
My health
Some wealth
A spare change of clothes
A smart phone and charger
Good shoes
A wrench
I spend a lot of time thinking about
not much actually. Dwelling on any one thing for too long is a good way to end up writing some really bad poetry. I prefer to think about lots of things.
On a typical Friday night I am
either at a bar, a friend's, or at home. Regardless of location, alcohol and games are likely involved. When the weather is warm enough, the list expands to parks and boats.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
is that I only learned how to ride a bike four years ago.
You should message me if
you want to. That's item one on the checklist.
