My self-summary
I try my best to keep up with the world. I'm a fan of most sports, video games, and board games. I've been skiing since I was four, although that's harder to do living this far south now. I'm always a fan of going out, usually to low-key bars, and I'm not embarrassed by my poor dancing. I have three tattoos. I believe in Science!. I am afraid of clowns. I love to travel, got a heavy case of wanderlust. I can't sing but I sometimes try to anyway. I used to be an actor; kinda, sorta. I usually wear sunglasses in photos because the flash makes my eyes close. I am on this site because, what the hell; right?
What I’m doing with my life
Living it. Part of which involves working in government consulting.
I’m really good at
figuring out rules to complicated games, making a scene when circumstances require it, and going both blue and dark with jokes.
The first things people usually notice about me
is that I look like Matt Damon. I don't see it but I long ago lost count of how many people have mentioned it to me, particularly by those over the age of 50, who are drunk, at weddings.

Six things I could never do without
So long as I'm healthy and have my smart phone with a charger and some money and cards in my wallet and a change of clothes in a bag I'm ready for anything.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
not much actually. Dwelling on any one thing for too long is a good way to end up writing some really bad poetry. I prefer to think about lots of things.
On a typical Friday night I am
doing whatever I feel like doing. This usually means either hitting a dive bar with friends, being at a board game night, or staying home to enjoy some sort of electronic-based entertainment. Or reading.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
is that I only learned how to ride a bike four years ago.
You should message me if
you want to. That's item one on the checklist.
