My self-summary
Returning to OKC after a long hiatus. The past few years I’ve been focused on raising my daughter, and helping her navigate the turbulent world of adolescence and high school. But she’s turned out great, and is off to college soon, so I’m looking forward to the next adventure

By way of a short bio, I’ve been living in San Francisco for almost 20 years now, but grew up in the hinterlands of the Midwest, where most of my family still lives. I’m the middle of six kids (think dysfunctional Brady Bunch)…they’re an unruly, insane group but I love them anyway.

I’ve previously lived in Boston, Chicago, and Santa Fe, and spend a lot of time in NYC, but came to love SF for its balance of urban vitality and access to unparalleled natural beauty…trying to enjoy everything the bay area has to offer.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm an architect and studio director for a large firm in the financial district; I'm privileged to manage a diverse group of incredibly smart and talented people, working on exciting, high-profile projects.

In my spare time, I love music (everything from bluegrass to opera), the theater, ballet, and I try to take in museums and galleries at every opportunity. Travel and exploration are in my DNA.

I'm always one to be drawn to simple pleasures: a good cup of coffee; the NYT crossword puzzle; the elusive lilac bush, walking aimlessly through the city; spending quality time with friends and family.
I’m really good at
listening
parallel parking in ridiculously tight spaces
rescuing my daughter's cat from its latest ill-fated adventure
talking authoritatively about stuff that I know absolutely nothing about
driving in reverse
amassing obscure and useless information
The first things people usually notice about me
Beside my height (I'm 6-4)...Probably that I'm very outgoing. I enjoy meeting new people and finding out about them; I'm very inquisitive...i ask a lot of questions.
