My self-summary
Sensitive artist seeks hot nerd for stimulating intellectual conversations, quirky creative endeavors, inspiring outdoors adventures and wild sex. I dig jazz, photography, history, biking and Louise Erdrich novels. You have a strange sense of humor, open mind, compassionate heart and eclectic style and taste. Together we are patient, caring and understanding of each other. But you gotta like puns.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a photographer. I am strongly attracted to the photography of people. Candid portraiture and investigations of human social interactions via the camera are a particular interests of mine.
I’m really good at
...wasting time at the computer. I'm especially good at playing Web Boggle. More seriously, people also tell me I'm a good listener and very observant, and I'd like to think that I'm good at offering empathy and compassion. Being able to see things from multiple perspectives and appreciate other points of view is another strength.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm quiet and don't go out of my way to attract attention.

I don't own a TV and haven't for many years. Nonetheless, some TV shows have come to my attention that I have liked: The Simpsons, Futurama, Sex and the City, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The X-Files, Doctor Who, 30 Rock. A childhood favorite that I still enjoy is M*A*S*H.

Music: The majority of what I listen to is jazz, but I frequently listen to a wide variety of other things too. Some jazz favorites: Woody Shaw, John Coltrane, Joe Henderson, Diana Krall, Brad Mehldau, Madeleine Peyroux, Miles Davis. Some non-jazz favorites: Joni Mitchell, Beth Orton, King Crimson, Kristin Hersh, Everything but the Girl, Johnny Cash, Public Enemy, Steely Dan, Rilo Kiley, Tori Amos, Yo La Tengo, Alicia Keys, MC Solaar, Neil Young, Sleater-Kinney, Regina Spektor, Imogen Heap.

Favorite food: I'm open to lots of different cuisines, though I don't eat much meat. Things I particularly like are saag paneer, pad thai, quesadillas, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, pesto, pizza from Zachary's or Arizmendi, and chocolate cream pie. My favorite vegetable is broccoli. Also, my grandparents had a donut shop when I was a kid. Whenever I stayed over at their house, grandpa would bring home a box of day-old donuts each day. So, donuts will always have a special place in my heart :)
The six things I could never do without
My bike, my camera, Boggle, my friends, music and Chocolate-covered Peanut Butter Pretzels from Trader Joe's.
