--I'm sensitive to everything around me, but somehow keep it balanced, most of the time. I'm curious and love to learn, but I'm not one for empty, intellectual conversations--when I'm more about the bigger picture and expressing passions, humanity, depth, heart, spiritual thoughts, experiences, etcetera. Gosh, that sounds really great until something goofy comes out of my mouth....
--I know myself pretty well, but I don't have a great handle on how others see me. I believe in balance but I like extremes sometimes. I'm warm and appropriately judgmental. I am shy and people think I'm an introvert or a snob. Most of the time I am too polite to say things that I know can hurt or agitate people. It’s in a work progress: I am an introvert changing to be more social or extrovert. Hopefully someone who will find my quirks endearing.
-- I love dogs! I'm alright with cats. But If I were to choose, I'll definitely choose dogs!
--I adore intelligent people who are equally compassionate and passionate. But all adjectives said and listed, in the end I hope we will find each other mutually inspiring in the big things and we can laugh silly at small things together.
--Adjusting to living in a city again. Exploring Boston and its diversity in food!
--What it all boils down to is finding someone with whom the mundane becomes fun, sexy, and magical. In addition, I'm looking to meet someone whose profile pictures are from this century. Moreover, a woman who loves her life. Someone who's wickedly funny, smart, sweet, generous, motivated, breathtaking, and who loves music so much that she thinks, perhaps, she might be crazy. But she's definitely not crazy. But you are someone a little edgy but also open and engaged; you get excited about ideas, people, books, films, art in conversation; you get excited when your ideas connect with someone else.
--Saving for the future.
--Recovering vegetarian (A study said that bacon is your enemy. Well you know the saying, "Love thy enemy")
-- Exploring and rediscovering myself.
-- Appreciating the small things.
-- Attention to details (part of what I do at work).
I’m in the process of reading more.. I read The Alchemist and Dan Brown's novel The Da Vinci Code before. Someone introduced me to Neil Gaiman and so far I’m enjoying reading his book “The Anansi Boys”. Looking forward to reading more of his books!
I also read Manga when I don't read any books. I only read it on the internet though.
To be honest, I can find things to love about nearly every movie, from the greatest director's masterpiece to the lowest forms of humor. The Never Ending Story will always have a special place in my heart
I don't watch anything religiously, but I try to keep up with The Office, Community, and Parks&Rec. Shows I've loved in the past include Psych, Weeds, Daily Show, Anthony Bourdain, Dexter, Sons of Anarchy, Batman TAS, Simpsons, South Park, Trailer Park Boys, lots of stuff from Adult Swim, HIMYM, Friends, Seinfeld, That 70’s show, Food and Cooking Channels the old TGIF line-up... Gosh, I've seen a lot of TV in my life.
I mostly listen to indie pop rock and '90s alt rock. I also listen to Jazz as I find it soothing specially when I try to relax at work. A few all-time favorites include Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Queen, GNR, Oasis, Pearl Jam, Incubus, Maroon 5, Gorillas, The Doors, Sublime, Deftones, Jack Johnson, Ben Folds , 311, The Kooks, Snow Patrol, Interpol, The XX, Radiohead, The Pixie, Florence and the Machine, RHCP, Better than Ezra, Blurr, Daft Punk, Flaming Lips, Bob Dylan, David Bowie, Frank Zappa, Eric Clapton, ... Okay, more than a few.
Try me... I mean I'll try anything once. I wasn't suggesting that you eat me... Well, maybe just a nibble.
2. Google map (I tend to get lost easily)
3. A jacket (I'm from a tropical country and until now I'm still not used to the cold.
7. People who will never forget you.
--What are the odds that I'm actually going to find the " right" someone on here..... or anywhere else for that matter
--What my power would be if super powers were real.
--My favorite place from childhood.
-- My next adventure!
--Wading in public fountains.
--If its too cold then at my place curled up in my bed with a book in one hand and a beer or tea on the other.
-- You are intelligent, has goals of their own and is affectionate. You generally has a positive outlook on life, playful personality and thinks that a great relationship requires honesty, openness, and challenging each other to be better.
--You are honest, caring, loyal, outgoing, funny, communicative, family oriented. You have enough time to actually date and make me a priority in your life. You are willing to put in just as much as I am into the relationship. You enjoy going out or is fine with cuddling up on the couch for a night. You enjoy adventures! You want to be partners in crime. You are real. That can be silly and serious. Romance, is there such a thing? The biggest coward is a woman who awakens a mans love with no intentions of loving him. So, if you play games, I'm not interested. If you don't know how to communicate like a normal human being, don't bother.
--You trust your heart more than your mind. Someone who feels their spirit, who can feel mine. Expression, both verbal and physical is very important to you. You like to laugh; you"ll make me laugh, and you don't only laugh at me, even though I am pretty funny. You're smart as a whip. You read books (whole ones.) You appreciate melancholy but you know the truth of life is silliness. You try to make the world better in some way. You have a little bit of edge. You are an artist of some sort or at least you have a clear aesthetic. You're nice to strangers, old people, and waiters. You combine hedonism and altruism. You are genuine and you know who you are.
-- If you can smile at imperfection, then you are a gem.....
