My self-summary
I'm a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll.
What I’m doing with my life
I just moved out to San Diego after living in New York City for 9 years. Working remotely for my old job for another moth or so, but searching desperately for a new gig out here!
I’m really good at
Small home repairs.
Recalling song lyrics.
Finishing people's fries.
I'm a good (fast) skier, I started when I was 8.
Analyzing people.
I read magazines starting at the last page. It's not a skill really, just a compulsion.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes can get really blue and sometimes people ask me if I'm wearing colored contacts. I'm never sure if I'm supposed to take it as an insult or a compliment. Because sometimes those colored contacts look pretty ridiculous on people.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I just finished All the Light We Cannot See. It really deserved that Pullitzer. All-time favorites include The Bell Jar, Bone Black, A Tale of Two Cities and Bossy Pants.

High Fidelity, The Departed, Forrest Gump, Outside Providence, V for Vendetta, Anchorman, Kill Bill(s), Annie Hall, Benny and Joon, The Royal Tenenbaums, Amelie, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, American Beauty, Best in Show. I'm also a sucker for Pride and Prejudice, and You've Got Mail.

Arrested Development, Family Guy, The Daily Show, 30 Rock, Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Game of Thrones, Homeland, Veep, Broad City and Inside Amy Schumer

Favorite music consists of the Velvet Underground, The Strokes, Paul Simon, Elliot Smith, Ryan Adams, Joni Mitchell, The Black Keys, Mo-Town

Falling madly in love with fish tacos
Six things I could never do without
My pug
Flip flops
Premium cable
A really comfy bed
"Me time"
I spend a lot of time thinking about
what my dog's doing and if she's happy
On a typical Friday night I am
soooo happy
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Sometimes I still like turning on Sesame Street. It's oddly comforting.
You should message me if
You like dogs, and hate the Kardashians.
