My self-summary
Regular scoundrel makin' it in this mad world. I like hiking, playing a game of pool or poker here and there, meeting new people, and other totally normal things. I also play the Irish whistle like a total nerd (, and like to buy books instead of e-read. I typically avoid loud places like bars, clubs, and parties, unless there is a reason for me to be there (concert, invited by friends, date, etc.), but I don't have any problems with them. Still have a rocker streak in me, can't help it.

The dream is to leave the big city and run to the forest. Still working on that, but hey, a guy's gotta have goals.
What I’m doing with my life
College dropout, currently working a job that has nothing to do with what I tried to study. It pays the bills and gives me some spending money and saving money.

Re-enrolled in community college recently to work towards the above mentioned goal. I'm pretty busy with it all, but I'm happy to make some time for a special lady.
I’m really good at
I'm actually a pretty damn good cook.

One-liner jokes that are so unfunny you can't help laughing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I squint my left eye when I smile. I don't know why, but I do. people always think I'm winking at them, ha.

My massive muscles and my intimidating demeanor.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love history and mythology. I'm a bit of a geek for it. Fiction I like is generally sci-fi/fantasy. I also like a few comics here and there.

I don't watch much TV, mostly just whatever seems neat on Netflix. Ok, Maybe an anime or two, too.

I can enjoy any movie as long as its good. Good romances, good comedies, anything, as long as its good. Admittedly, some of my favorite movies are cheesy action/horror films from the 80s with those great special effects.

My music taste is all over the map, but to keep it short we can say I'm into rock and roll, and a few select songs from pretty much every other genre.
Six things I could never do without
rock and roll
I spend a lot of time thinking about
History, alternate histories, The future, alternate futures.
On a typical Friday night I am
Most Fridays, I'll go to a friend's house to hang out and watch movies or go hiking or something, but sometimes I'll go to a rock show if there are good bands, a club/rave if there is a good DJ, or maybe hit up a goth club for some industrial music. If there is ever a night where classic goth or death rock is being played, I'll definitely be there. I usually don't like all the craziness of "nightlife" though--if I can just hang out with some friends doing whatever, I'd much prefer that.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't have a dog, a beard, or a Disneyland annual pass.
