My self-summary
Hello ladies, my name is Neal. I've lived in Memphis for the past 18 years. I came here from Montana in '93, was born in GA, but I call San Diego, CA my home town. Confused? Well, my father retired here from the Navy, so we moved around a lot. I'm a former Air Force cop, so I did a lot of traveling on my own as well. Ok, enough about that. I'm a pretty laid back guy who's tired of doing everything alone. I find it challenging to meet women since I don't drink and hang out in bars, and I'm not into the church thing. So, I decided to give this a try. If you are wondering about my screen name, yes, I do write poetry. Not the mushy lovie dovie stuff, just the kind that makes you think. I can get pretty deep and dark sometimes too. I'm also a nature lover. I love to spend time in the State Park areas. Unfortunately, I have never been blessed with children myself, but I do love kids. So if you have children, that won't scare me off. :)
What I’m doing with my life
Living life the best way I know how.
I’m really good at
Cooking, writing, listening, and lending a shoulder to those who need one.
The first things people usually notice about me
My red hair and blue eyes, and the fact that I don't have a southern accent.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I love to read military historic fiction, although I haven't done much reading lately. My music taste can flip flop quite rapidly. I can be listening to Metallica one minute, and classical the next. Just depends on my mood. As far as food goes, I love to cook, nuf said.
The six things I could never do without
Companionship, affection, laughter, good food, my Jeep, my boat, and a place to "escape the world".
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working, but during the spring and summer months, on my days off, you can usually find me on my boat in the Meeman Shelby Forest State Park chasing fish. :)
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If I put that up here it wouldn't be private anymore would it?
You should message me if
You are looking for a great guy. I'm a great cook, I don't drink or do drugs, I'm fairly well educated, I love kids, and to top it all off, I believe in treating a woman like a lady.
