My self-summary
First thing is first. I'm a nerd/dork/geek, take your pick. If that bothers you then please move on. I'd rather not waste your time (or mine, to tell the truth).

I do enjoy reading, watching movies, playing Frisbee/Disc golf, and various other things. I can even be convinced to do even more things, I'm generally happy to try something once... or more if I don't absolutely hate it.
What I’m doing with my life
Generally I'm working, then either vegetating or hanging out with friends, usually doing what most would consider nerdy things. If you want more detail, message me.
I’m really good at
Random computer support, hugging, playing Rock Band, listening, offering suggestions that might or might not help and mentioning why or why not they could go either way.
The first things people usually notice about me
My dry sort of humor? Dunno, maybe someday someone will tell me.
Apparently according to others, I have a good sense of humor and a nice (sexy?) voice. I have been told multiple times that I have the perfect voice for radio.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books... Sci-Fi and Fantasy genres mostly, though I am known to read the odd mystery now and again. Oh, and i'll read comics once in a while too.

Movies... way too many to list, lets just say I'm usually up for seeing just about anything. My favorite recent movies would probably have to be Deadpool and The Force Awakens.

Music... I've been told that I have very eclectic tastes when it comes to music, probably because I can be listening to techno one moment, switch to Cake, then something japanese, then some rock or something else.

Food... mmm, I like food. Italian is a favorite, sushi is awesome, and I'll certainly eat most mexican and oriental.

Television... I don't watch live TV, but I do try to keep up with some shows when I can.
The six things I could never do without
In no particular order...
-- Friends (who else is gonna laugh at your follies and then offer to help you up.)
-- My computer w/ internet (Gotta have something to do and some way to contact people)
-- Oxygen (suffocating isn't my cup of tea)
-- My car (transportation is a no brainer... or is it?)
-- Clothing (I really don't dig running around naked)
-- Ya know, I really can't think of a sixth thing.. maybe I'll come up with one later.

Aaand because I want to...

5 things I COULD do without...
-- Ignorance
-- Bigotry (I'm not racist, I hate everyone equally, at least until I get to know them.)
-- Extreme heat (Can never take enough off and still go out in public)
-- Baseless Impatience (Yes, I'm guilty of it myself)
-- Pushy Religious People (I don't mind your religion and I respect your choice of following it, just don't try to push it on me.)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The future, and not in some vague sense, more like what I'm planning, from the next day, the next week, to the next year and beyond. But then again everyone does that, so I'll try to be a bit more specific. (anyone scared yet?)

When I work next, why I'm still single, what I want to do, who insures the Enterprise (thanks foamy), the current song thats playing in a loop through my head and won't leave, whats been happening in the book I'm reading, various embarrasing moments from my past that I just can't seem to forget, my next plan to take over the world, and so on and so forth. I assure you, its like a hurricane in there with no calm eye.
On a typical Friday night I am
Right now it depends on the Friday night. Every other friday I am out with friends playing a game or two. The fridays that I am not with friends are up in the air.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I seriously dislike ALL CAPS... I'm annoying myself just writing it like that.
I'm going to add a second thing because, in this particular venue, it is important.
I envy people that can be romantically involved no matter what the other person is like physically and/or mentally.
I have come to terms with the fact that I find both physical and mental attractiveness necessary for me to think of someone romantically. I'm not necessarily happy with it, but I realize it is necessary for me.
You should message me if
You should message me if you think we might make a connection of some sort. Not everyone will be a romantic interest, but I'm always up for making new friends.
