My self-summary
I'll start off by saying that I'm a very nice and caring guy.

Conversation is probably the most important thing when meeting someone. I could talk for hours about random things e.g. the future of technology, politics, internet memes. If there's no mental stimulation with something or someone, my attention wavers.

Some of my interests include: web design, web anything, education, programming, film, sci-fi, comics, fiction, exploring the city, having drinks in the sun, board games, anthropology and culture studies.

My humor can be dry and sarcastic. I'm usually very in the moment and am pretty entertaining (I hope). But I'm also pensive and love to sit quietly and let my mind wander.
What I’m doing with my life
Moved to NYC from SF a couple years back to try something new. Hoping to transfer to a university and major in programming/graphic design (not yet certain where my focus will be). My plan is to work towards getting my degree and eventually working as a liaison between design and programming teams.
I’m really good at
-listening to people and giving feedback.
-noticing things others don't.
-letting others be themselves.
-making myself look stupid at inopportune moments.
-learning new technology.
-adapting to new environments.
The first things people usually notice about me
People mention my long eye-lashes a lot. And my hair. Someone always has something to say about it. Or they just stare at it while I'm talking.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
All these things can really label a person so I'm going to mention that I have a wide barometer of likes and dislikes:

Blindness - Jose Saramago
I Am Legend - Richard Matheson
Wicked series (the book, i have no interest in the musical) - Gregory Maguire

Any Pedro Almodovar film
Any Jean-Pierre Jeunet film
Any Luc Besson film
Anything with Jean Reno in it (and I know that's stretching it)
Sci-Fi films

Kings of Leon
Scott Matthew

Lykke Li
Girls Aloud
Lily Allen
Jenny Lewis
The Twelves
Sam Sparro

Real Time with Bill Maher (so sexy)

On a typical Friday night I am
Usually at home doing not much of anything. I like going out at night during the week, usually. If I knew people out here this would read something like, Making dinner and drinking wine with friends by the fire!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I love playing video games. Not everybody that knows me knows that. That's as private as I'm getting on a public forum.
You should message me if
I've piqued your interest.
