My self-summary
I'm tall, and this comes in handy when I'm at concerts, or looking for a friend in a crowd, or getting stuff off the top shelf, but is less pleasant when riding in a plane or walking around in my basement. I love being up early, but hate getting up early. Just got to have that coffee! I don't have a television, but that's not to say i don't spend my fair share of time watching shows (or warriors games). My mood is directly related to my blood sugar level.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a geologist for an environmental consulting firm. I work on clean up of groundwater, mostly from underground fuel tanks. Been a positive experience thus far and worth pursuing further.
I’m really good at
Remembering where things are, parallel parking, telling people that they are wrong in a nice way, navigation, drawing maps, cooking greens and vegetables of all kinds.
The first things people usually notice about me
I assume it's my stunningly beautiful eyes.

Also my modesty.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books... All time favorites are probably Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie, White Noise by Don Delillo, 100 Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut, Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell.

Movies: Big Lebowski, Pi, Dirty Work, Robin Hood Men in Tights, Super Troopers, Adaptationis a short list.

TV shows, my attention span is much more amenable to 30-60 minute blocks than 2 hours so even though it didn't ask I'll put them here. Favorites like Twin Peaks, Mad Men, Breaking Bad, The Wire, Ideal, Party Down.

Music... Lotsa stuff. I really like music and would probably love to talk to you about it. Lately I've been into Baths, FKA Twigs, How to Dress Well, Spiritualized, Glass Animals, Burial, Scholomo, Deerhunter, Grimes, and Youth Lagoon.

Food... I really like spicy food, i love basil, so thai food... and NOODLES! Especially when they're pan fried. But I also love to cook quinoa, black eyed peas, rainbow chard, and all kinds of greens, hot sauce, melon, goat cheese, and bleu cheese, and cow's milk cheese, and, sheep's milk cheese, and, um, I think you get the point. I am a self declared king of mini pizzas, which are probably my favorite snack food. Mmmm, mini pizza ... I just might have to take a break from the internets. I was vegetarian for years and learned some good veggie recipes and can appreciate a meatless meal, but eat my share of animal flesh these days.
Six things I could never do without
-coffee (though if I've got tea, we can talk)
-toothbrush and floss
I spend a lot of time thinking about
current/political events

environmental compliance (work, although it is something I care about)

the vast potential of both the positive and negative aspects of humanity that I see on a daily basis

friends whom I don't see enough

On a typical Friday night I am
Telling myself "It's ok, you should go ahead and relax, then you'll have energy to go out tomorrow" and then doing my laundry/dishes/cleaning or whatever I put off doing all week, interspersed with reading or watching episodes on the internet.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a rocky horror virgin
You should message me if
You want to talk about/trade music.

You want to go for a bike ride. Maybe with a picnic.

You're kinda nerdy, but also don't really like starwars.
