I waffle between being an INTJ and an INFJ on the Myers-Briggs depending on the particular questionnaire.
I like toys. A lot.
I love travel and would like to spend a lot more time in Eastern Europe.
I'm militantly agnostic.
I believe very strongly in science but don't have quite as much confidence in its results being reported without cultural bias.
I'm a pragmatist and enjoy political discussions that focus on nuts-and-bolts details over grand theory. I have strong anarchist sympathies, but in practice I'm more of a European-style social democrat than anything else. I'll agree that the government pretty much sucks, but tell me how you want to handle hospitals, power, sewage and water treatment before you advocate abolishing it.
I'm fascinated by propaganda and rhetoric.
I am currently involved in long-term relationships (with haileris and darkmoon, BTW, in case you're curious) and am not specifically looking for romantic entanglement, but then again, I wasn't looking for them, either. My relationships tend to grow organically from shared passions and pursuits, intellectual, political and spiritual.
If you're looking for a monogamous relationship I'm not your person; however, I'm not using this service only to look for "hook-ups".
In any case, we're looking for new friends close by, as we don't have that many friends that live in the East Bay.
I love people and need a constant supply of fresh opinions and insights for my brain to work optimally, so if this brief profile piques your interest, yes, I'd love to have coffee and conversation. OKCupid has done a good job of exposing me to people I don't come across in my other online and real-world social outlets.
I am specifically seeking more local queer co-conspirators. I tend to not care for people that have extreme gender performances, preferring a degree of androgyny and gender dysphoria. I personally identify as genderqueer.
I have found OKCupid to be uncannily accurate in predicting romantic and social compatibility, so if you've got high matches with me I'll probably enjoy your company.
I am quixotic, playful, and intense
I'm particularly interested in the societal and legal ramifications of copyright and intellectual property, especially in the chilling effect that the [mis}use of IP laws has had on public discourse. I'm not sure I have quite enough drive to do the law school thing, but, considering my interests, it's an attractive option.
I enjoy conventions and conferences, and have presented on using illegal art, culture jamming, and memetic piggybacking as strategies to pursue social change at venues as diverse as EsoZone in Portland, Oregon, the Chaos Communications Conference in Berlin, Germany, and Pantheacon in San Jose, CA.
haileris and I run discordian.com and put on Kallisticon, a Discordian gathering every summer in the Bay Area.
In the meantime I do contract computer work to pay the bills.
I'm becoming increasingly impressed at my ability to integrate disparate ideas in new and interesting ways.

So, I'm going to answer this question with six things I'd PREFER not to do without:
my lovers, my colleagues, my music collection, my toys, my laptop, the Internet
I'm tempted to say something broader like "art" or "science" but that almost feels like cheating. I might as well say "the world".
Did I mention that I hate this question? ;D
I wish more people would thoroughly examine their own gender, racial, sexual and social privelege, and spend a lot of time trying to figure out how to make this happen.
If you're really curious, though, ask me.
You enjoy photographing graffiti and urban decay.
You're interested in social engineering through culture jamming and memetic piggybacking and would like to talk shop.
You're smart and sexy and get off on clever wordplay and have a twisted sense of humor.
You can see the fnords.
