What I’m doing with my life
I do quality control for a utilities consulting company. It's marginally more interesting than it sounds, but it pays the bills.

When I'm not keeping line workers alive and everyone else in Netflix, I mostly read, game, and study. I don't know many people in the STL area, but I'm trying to get out more and remedy that.
I’m really good at
Gallows humor
Silver linings
Saying what I mean
Math (hella)
Hitting my Ballmer peak
Giving a shit

Six things I could never do without
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Existential risks (planetary? personal? Enquire to find out more!)
Software development
Geopolitics, sustainable development, and population management
Space colonization
Alternative energy sources
The relationship between technological and cultural development
How we can best enjoy the thirty billion remaining years during which the universe is expected to be able to maintain human life
Other polysyllabic, pretentious bullshit

...the goddamn Batman
On a typical Friday night I am
At a bar, making up for the sobriety imposed on me by the archaic 40+ hour workweek, hopefully playing pool and/or enjoying live music while engaging in genuine conversation.
Home, probably reading, possibly watching Netflix, generally doing introvert things.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was a kid, I never wanted to be an astronaut when I grew up.
I wanted to be a spaceship.
You should message me if
You wish I would message you.
You damn well feel like it.
You want to talk about nerd shit over beer and/or booze.
You're awesome, and you think I'm awesome.
You should message me. (Tautological!)
