Board games are a huge social activity over in Europe. They are a fun excuse to socialize. Either with you in a two player game or with a group of friends. There are also many different categories to chose from if you don't like a certain type of game.
Disc golf is a great excuse to get outside, enjoy the outdoors, and play with friends. Of course, a little competition makes it interesting.
I started out in photography with a cell phone which took some low resolution pictures. But it wasn't about the quality of the pictures at first. It was about noticing much more of the world and what I found fascinating about it. I then progressed to a entry DSLR and now to a professional DSLR. However, it is still about exploring all aspects of photography and how art comes out of it. And I like to take photo-walks. Wandering around and taking pictures of whatever captures my eye. And seeing what different people take during the same walk. I also like to describe missed photographic opportunities.
I am fascinated with food science. And I have managed to combine two of my hobbies together by taking pictures of the food that I cook. My favorite chef is Alton Brown.
I am more of an introvert than outgoing and social. I work for a computer company. And my exercise includes running, cycling, swimming, and yoga.
I watch a lot of movies. Some recent movies that I loved are: The Hobbit, Skyfall, Chasing Ice, Looper, and Moonrise Kingdom.
DVRs and Netflix have made watching TV so much easier and more convenient. However, I have also been slowly culling shows...
I like alternative/techno/trance/industrial music. I've been going through the entire Coverville podcasts recently. Which causes me to imagine what alternate history could have occurred where the cover was more popular.
I am definitely a foodie. I like to try new places to eat. And I love the Austin food trailer scene!
When I say the pledge of allegiance I substitute "under Crom", because of course Crom doesn't give a shit.
