Apart from that I like to think of myself as an open-minded (I suspect that's not the first place on okc where you read this word ;-)) and empathetic person. I have many interests but if I had to name one single topic then that would most likely be (natural) sciences. However, I tend to become more and more interested in politics and related topics these days.
books: recently started to read Tolstoi ("Anna Karenina") for the first time and I like it so far; Max Frisch, Hermann Hesse, Ray Bradbury,... and sometimes "real adventure" books (e.g. Tim Cope's "On the Trail of Genghis Khan", just impressive) or biographies
movies: lately, I haven't been so much into movies (even though I like them), so I skip them for the moment.
shows: don't watch shows recently, but I liked Community, Happy Endings, Danger 5 (ok, you have to like the humour); admittedly I liked the concept of HIMYM but a few seasons less would have been better (like it's often the case...)
music: Audioslave, Rage Against The Machine, Godsmack, Queens Of The Stone Age, White Stripes, System of A Down, Sentenced, Steven Wilson, Tori Amos, Metallica, Tool, Rise Against,... recently, also some classical music (Richter!) or stuff like Aloe Blacc
friends and family
music (to keep me sane)
sports/motion in general
discovering new things
probably balls (not what you think, but for juggling for which I often don't find the time these days :-/)
