books: Tolstoi ("Anna Karenina"), Max Frisch, Hermann Hesse, Ray Bradbury,... and sometimes "real adventure" books (e.g. Tim Cope's "On the Trail of Genghis Khan", just impressive) or biographies
movies: lately, I haven't been so much into movies (even though I like them), so I skip them for the moment.
shows: don't watch shows recently, but I liked Community, Happy Endings, Danger 5 (ok, you have to like the humour); admittedly I liked the concept of HIMYM but a few seasons less would have been better (like it's often the case...)
music: Audioslave, Rage Against The Machine, Godsmack, Queens Of The Stone Age, White Stripes, System of A Down, Sentenced, Steven Wilson, Tori Amos, Metallica, Tool, Rise Against, Murder by Death,... less frequently, also some classical music (Richter) or stuff like Aloe Blacc
