My self-summary
"Very beautifully reviewed by just about everybody." - D. Trump

Bright, silly, funny guy who basically and consistently reflects the best and worst attributes of a Leo. I make faces at kids on the subway. I work hard and get frustrated when others don't work at realizing their potential. I love clothes and hate fashion. I think rby45rpm smells like heaven. Signs that read "Ice Tea" make me want to shake a baby. I don't need a boyfriend, but hope the guy who should be my boyfriend shows up soon.
What I’m doing with my life
Professionally, I'm a brand strategist at a marketing and design agency. Personally, I'm on year 7 living in NYC, check out the downtown cabaret scene often, ride my bike when it's not snowing, consume lots of Diet Coke, and quietly judge people who are loudly stupid.
I’m really good at
Acting like a fool with other people's kids. My job. Abusing my passport. Also, I make scrambled eggs like nobody's business.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyes. They're big and hazel.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I think every college-age kid should read The Mysteries of Pittsburgh. I read Adam Haslett's You Are Not a Stranger Here at least once a year. Coetzee, D'Ambrosio, and McEwan are common reads. I listen to a lot of alt country, blues, and music you won't hear at a gay bar, like The Preatures, Antony & the Johnsons, A.A. Bondy, Joe Purdy, The Czars, Gregory Alan Isakov, Elvis Perkins, and the Irrepressibles. I rarely watch TV. I like indie films. I eat a lot of sushi, though I love a burger.
Six things I could never do without
Good shoes, good friends, good sheets, fizzy water, my annual 2 weeks abroad sans work email, Egon Schiele.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The same thing all guys spend a lot of time thinking about.
On a typical Friday night I am
At dinner, wishing I was at Joe's Pub or actually at Joe's Pub.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was a kid, I spent the majority of my summer wandering the woods behind my parent's house wearing cowboy boots and carrying a bow & arrow, pretending to be a "woodland prince", whatever that means.
You should message me if
You're motivated, cute, thoughtful, and confident. And have never shaken a baby.
