My self-summary
I work in Cambridge as an engineer for a biopharm company. Outside of work, I goto a crap ton of concerts, play volleyball; listen to lots of indie rock but a little bit of everything I suppose; occasionally play video games; drinking eccentric beer; and just hanging out with friends. The little details surrounding that feel free to ask and say hi as I open up about myself the more I feel we have a lot in common or our personalities really click.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently in a bit of transition period in life where I'm very happy with my job and am looking for the "next step" in life. Potentially looking at a future MBA or engineering management degree in the coming year or two. I'm open to meeting new people, making friends, and if there is more chemistry, seeing if something more substantial develops. No rush either way.
I’m really good at
making a very amicable first impression. Though after that I tend to try to get know people awhile before I really open up unless we really click. Even after that people tend to find me hard to read for one reason or another - working on trying to change that a bit particularly with who I'm closest with.
The first things people usually notice about me
my eyes, easy smirk/smile and apparently my backside but you be the judge of that :P.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - getting back into a general recreational reading mantra that has started with Game of Thrones, Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and some sci-fi/fantasy stuff. Open to suggestions!

Movies - a little of everything but love action movies - both gritty and over the top. Love fantasy, complex sci-fi, politically charged dramas/thrillers, heist movies, etc etc. Favorite directors include Martin Scorcese, Christopher Nolan, Stephen Spielberg, etc.

Music - way too many different artists to count but the highlights include Thrice, Brand New, Arctic Monkeys, Minus the Bear, Radiohead, Foals, Florence and the Machine, MuteMath, Ambassadors, Two Door Cinema Club, The Dig, Frank Turner, Silversun Pickups, Phantogram, Local Natives, etc. etc. I like a bunch of different kinds of music but really appreciate someone with unique music tastes regardless on what genre that falls into. Ultimately it helps give a clearer picture of the type of person you are.

Favorite album at the moment - Phantogram - Voices

Food - a little bit of everything honestly; i tend to cook a lot of italian food mainly based on my upbringing (and since its easy) but willing to try new things here and there.
Six things I could never do without
-Spotify playlists
-Red Sox/Baseball Trade Rumors
-A rational perspective of life
-Live music!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Learning how to better think more in the present rather than thinking too far in the future. It's nice to think of how things could turn out down the road but ultimately the here and now is the only way to get there. Also, finding the balance of making decisions in life based on experience but also looking at every circumstance and new person I meet from a blank slate. A lot trickier in practice.
On a typical Friday night I am
either out at a cool pub and drinking good beer, dancing the night away at the clubs or at home cozying up on my couch watching movies or playing video games.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a fantasy baseball nerd....and a stubborn Red Sox fan regardless on how much you hate them :)
You should message me if
You're looking to meet up and chat over coffee or beer. I'm ultimately looking for something substantial at this point in my life but am also willing to wait to find what I'm really looking for. That might be a scary proposition to some people :P
