My self-summary
I recently moved to Austin from Florida after graduating with a Master's degree in Computer Science. As you might expect from that last sentence, I'm kind of a nerd. I'm mostly a film geek and I typically go to one of Austin's myriad of great theaters once or twice a week. Although I would probably identify myself as an introvert, I do like to get out and be social whether it be at a bar or one of Austin's many festivals. I am a big fan of craft beer and have even tried my hand at making it (so far, nothing really worth sharing).
What I’m doing with my life
I am currently working full-time in the software industry. I don't know too many people here at the moment, but I am trying to get out and experience the city and meet new people as much as I can.
I’m really good at
Some hobbies that I'm "good" at (good being a relative term):
Playing music
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm usually quiet around people when I first meet them.

Comics: Y: The Last Man, Saga, Ex Machina, Manhattan Projects, current Daredevil, current Hawkeye

Food: I used to be extremely picky, but I've grown out of that in the past couple of years and now I'm trying to taste everything. Brunch is the best meal of the day. Also, tacos are the bomb.
Six things I could never do without
On a typical Friday night I am
I am probably out having a beer with some friends, seeing a film at a theater, or at some kind of "fest" (Austin will use any excuse to have a fest). I am still new to the city so I have been trying to explore different places and experience everything. Netflix and video games at home are also a common occurrence.
