My self-summary
Who am I? Every time I think I've got it figured out, life throws me a new twist. So with that in mind, I'd describe myself as adaptable and always evolving. I've lived on three continents and received my mail at twenty-five different addresses; I think this has heavily influenced a lot of my views. I've found a pretty good medium between the number of things I take seriously and those that I do not. I've recently decided that I need a little bit of grounding, so I bought a house.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in public service forty hours a week. The rest of my time is spent trying to enjoy life. I try to stay active through running, hanging out with friends and family, and riding my motorcycle. My dog wants me to get a sidecar, he tells me all the time. I also enjoy chasing down rare and elusive whiskey, craft beers, and other delicious beverages.
I’m really good at
Making people laugh. Cooking. Fixing things. Starting a fire with basic tools. Finding common ground. Land navigation. Telling stories. Trivia.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
This is always changing. Book: Red Storm Rising. Movie: The Big Short. Show: Silicon Valley. Music: Not even going to try and narrow that down. Food: I don't like beets.
The six things I could never do without
Passport, Internet, my trusty backpack, my motorcycle, my dog, and... water?
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Where I'm traveling to next. My future as a whole.
On a typical Friday night I am
Recovering from the work week with dinner and drinks, with friends or family or both.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
When I was in preschool, I was terrified of being pregnant. I thought it just happened randomly, regardless of equipment. It was a huge relief when I was told otherwise.
You should message me if
You'd like to go out for a drink or dinner.

You can lead a conversation as easily as follow along.

You have some cool stories.

You want to go on a fantastical adventure that ends at a reasonable hour on a weeknight because we're adults and have shit to do in the AM.
