My self-summary
It's not whether the glass is half full or half empty, but what a good drink of water can do for body and soul.. I'm not easy to pin down to a few easy labels, but bohemian, intellectual, artistic, philosophical, musical are a place to start. Nature rules. I prefer to get around on my two feet as much as possible, especially barefooted. I feel comfortable in the city or the country, but it is nice in the city how convenient so many things are. But I get angry every time I see another grassy meadow bulldozed for more stupid buildings and pavement. I fancy myself a writer, and especially enjoy writing songs, but am seeking a muse. I wear my heart on my sleeve, so most people know where they stand with me - especially the cute guys.

Kind of a hippie-punk-hipster hybrid.

Prefer dating guys who are bi or who identify as queer. Trans-guys are cool too. I present as masculine but like many hippie dudes I enjoy wearing non-pants from time to time: skirts, kilts, gender neutral dresses - and I also like Renaissance, Steampunk, and cyberpunk wear though I'm not crafty enough to pull all those off.

I'm polytheistic, pantheist and animist, with Buddhist learnings.

I'm omnivorous, I don't mind dating vegans and vegies, as long as there is mutual respect for each others' conscious choices.
What I’m doing with my life
Rewilding. Working fulltime, playing at music, making magic. Buying old sorcerous grimoires and ancient and Renaissance Hermeticist and Orphic literature. Home-brewing kefir and sauerkraut. Playing EVE almost non-stop.

I take the Buddhist Dharma seriously and have a commitment to non-violence, the challenge is illustrated by this story:

A Vietnam veteran was overheard rebuking the Vietnamese Buddhist monk, Thich Nhat Hanh, about his unswerving dedication to non-violence.

"You're a fool," said the veteran - "what if someone had wiped out all the Buddhists in the world and you were the last one left. Would you not try to kill the person who was trying to kill you, and in doing so save Buddhism?!"

Thich Nhat Hanh answered patiently "It would be better to let him kill me. If there is any truth to Buddhism and the Dharma it will not disappear from the face of the earth, but will reappear when seekers of truth are ready to rediscover it. In killing I would be betraying and abandoning the very teachings I would be seeking to preserve. So it would be better to let him kill me and remain true to the spirit of the Dharma."
I’m really good at
Kissing. No joke.

Writing, performance, massage, singing, cooking, learning languages.

Appreciating the bass guitar, the acoustic guitar, the mountain dulcimer, the fiddle, the banjo, and especially the cello.
