My self-summary
Hi, I'm Ryan. I'm a friendly, fun, and caring guy. I like to go out dancing, stay in watching movies, and just about everything in between. I'm pretty laid-back in general and easy to talk to. I joke around a lot but also appreciate having real conversations with people.

I'm trans. He/him/his pronouns.
What I’m doing with my life
Graduated from AU with a degree in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Now, I do communications and development for a small education non-profit (which really just means I get paid to write grants and be on Facebook).

Much of my life involves Netflix marathons, let's be real.
I’m really good at
Listening, laughing, and color coding things.
The first things people usually notice about me
People often know I'm around because of my laugh. Oops.

(Disclaimer: these are really incomplete! I always seem to forget just about everything I like as soon as questions like this come up)

Books: Tuesdays With Morrie, The Giver, All About Love (bell hooks), anything by Andrea Gibson

Movies: Imagine Me & You, Mean Girls, the Matrix, The Breakfast Club, Saw, Cabin in the Woods

Shows: The Office, Parks and Rec, Bob's Burgers, OITNB, House of Cards, Chopped, Masterchef / anything with Gordon Ramsey, and just about anything Shonda Rhimes wants to ruin my life with.

Music: Kesha, Lupe Fiasco, Oh Wonder, Lianne La Havas, Hamilton, Pearl and the Beard, Kate Nash, Mumford & Sons, The Weepies, Bassnectar.
Six things I could never do without
My cat Gus
A notebook
My best friends
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I'm a huge social justice nerd so I am constantly thinking about power, privilege, and intersectionality.

How to make myself a better person, how to make the world a better place, and how I can become best friends with Kesha.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working, watching Netflix, hanging out with friends, drinking, or any combination of the above.
You should message me if
-You quote The Office on the regular
-You know what ableism is
-You think that Netflix should really know better than to ask "Are you still watching..."
-You're into self-reflection
-You just want to hang out with Gus but think I'm kind of cute too
The two of us
