My self-summary
I firmly believe that the oatmeal raisin cookie is one of man's most evil creations. It's entire design is to trick you into thinking it is the much superior chocolate chip cookie and that moment when you realize that what you are eating is not a chocolate chip cookie is one of the most universally depressing moments in life. If you do not agree we might not get along.

If you read this far you should know I am irreverent. I believe that nothing is too offensive, it just wasn't funny enough. I love to read and probably watch too much tv. I enjoy having a few drinks at a bar, but hate getting drunk (which of course doesn't stop me from doing so on occasion). I love to learn which is probably why I spent so much time going to school. I am a pretty independent person and I can keep myself busy pretty effortlessly. I love sharing things I enjoy with people, introducing to them to books or tv or movies I love. I also love making fun of my friends when they only follow my recommendations 3 years later and then come back to me talking about this amazing new show/book they've found and have I heard about it.
What I’m doing with my life
I am a lawyer working for the City and I honestly love it. I went through a few different law jobs before coming to the City a few years ago and this is the first one where I am happy. It is nice to finally find work that you love.
I’m really good at
Trivia, predicting what baseball announcers are going to say before they say it, crossword puzzles, wedding toasts
The first things people usually notice about me
Maybe my eyes? They are very blue and I suppose that is unusual with my brown hair. Either that or the fact my beard turns red in the summer while my hair stays brown.

Cell phone, computer (well really the internet), cheese, a good book, my family, and the Phillies
I spend a lot of time thinking about
My future, my job, where I'll be next year, in five years etc. I also have a pretty active imagination and probably have a few half-formed story ideas bouncing around in my head at most times that I never get around to writing down
On a typical Friday night I am
Depends on the work week. Some Fridays I need to get out, some I just want to crash at home and watch some Netflix. If I'm with someone I always like to try out new restaurants.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have awful facial recognition. seriously I am terrible at recognizing faces. It can be really embarrassing.
You should message me if
I'm a pretty laid back guy and I'm just looking to meet someone who both inspires me to go out and have fun and come home and relax together. If you like intellectual conversations and humor I'm your guy.
