My self-summary
Born in CO, raised in LA, then somehow ended up in Chicago for 8 years. I eventually made my way back to souther California to do my own thing, but somehow I ended up in Orange County. When asked, I admit that Chicago is the better of the two cities.

I've essentially settled in OC for the time being, but that doesn't mean I won't move somewhere else.

I suppose the primary reason I'm here is to meet new people. I try to to place too many expectations on an online dating website, as it's not a good substitute for meeting people in person. However, I work opposite hours from a "normal" person, so I often find myself having difficulty finding time to attend most social gatherings that occur in the early evening.

It takes a while for me to open up, but once that happens I am incredibly loyal. I am a pragmatist at heart, and I love to make other people smile even if I don't always do it myself.

The first things people usually notice about me
People usually notice my glasses, if I am wearing them...

I also make funny faces without knowing that I do them. My signature is my upside-down smile. I have been told that I am a victim of RBF. I now combat this by smiling at the most inappropriate moments.

Why yes, I am Asian.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: DaVinci Code series, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Series
Movies: Forrest Gump
Musicals: Avenue Q, Children of Eden
Shows: RuPaul's Drag Race, I Love Lucy
Music: Talk Radio
Food: The stranger it is, the more likely I'll try it.
Six things I could never do without
1. Food: pretty self explanatory
2. Motivation: Your path in life is strongly influenced by who you choose to surround yourself with.
3. Color: I never understood why business clothing for men always had to be so damn drab.
4. Portmanteau: One of the most intriguing things about English is the ability for new words to be created and for people to understand these mutations without much effort. That's why I have pledged to use as many non-dictionary words as possible in casual conversation.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
The expansiveness of the human population. How is it that the world can be so big and small at the same time?

I also think about food a lot.
On a typical Friday night I am
I think I gave up on clubbing a long time ago. Now, I only reserve clubbing for baby seals. As it turns out, I'm allergic to alcohol, so it's probably a good thing.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My Spanish is better than my Chinese...

I don't chew my food as much as I should.

I despise duck lips.
You should message me if
You want to hear the crazy ideas I have. Or if you want to talk about education.
Or if you would like to go tumbling.
