My self-summary
Random Musings: I once heard that in Japan, sushi chefs are traditionally assumed to have a dark and mysterious past that the diner should never inquire about. Because of this I love sushi even more. And on the topic of food, I have a running theory that all Mexican restaurants in LA have an endless number of rooms full of people eating in them. I find this very comforting. And on the subject of Mexican I must publicly admit that I occasionally kind of dig the music on Mexican radio stations I pick up as I drive through LA.

I would definitely define myself as a passionate supporter/pursuer of the arts with a fascination for technology. I was about to write that I love cooking, but then realized how much I like restaurants, so I guess that just means I love eating.

I will travel anywhere, but am happy wherever I am these days, now that I am more in touch with myself. I have currently moved into a place in my life where living a healthy and active lifestlye is a priority. Yes, it's important to do whatever you want sometimes, but if you don't like being active or care about what you put in your body, I'm probly not the guy for you.
What I’m doing with my life
I recently left the interactive entertainment sector--from social media to video games--to direct and teach technology programs, while moonlighting as an aspiring novelist. I moved to Venice two years ago and love it, but take special care to suck the marrow out of every corner of this city.
I’m really good at
Packing lite/light. Keeping secrets. Reading books. Getting people together. Finding culture in LA. Cooking healthy. Listening. Looking like I know how to play the guitar. Charades. Random nights. Appreciating beauty. Getting lost and not really caring. Surprising people.
The first things people usually notice about me
People always tell me I remind them of an old friend. I take this as a compliment.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Six things I could never do without
Rotate 3 other things I suddenly remember are awesome every few days. Right now, it's Turner Classic Movies in the background and I'll get back to you about the other 2.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What is really important
Where to hang the last picture
The next picture
How I will get to Japan
On a typical Friday night I am
I want to say a dinner party, but the truth is there aren't enough of them in LA. Let's all have more dinner parties.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a member of the magic castle and have been performing since I was 10.
You should message me if
You prioritize healthy living in some respect or another; you are excited to meet someone new. I know I know, this sounds pretty cliche, but the truth is I'm open to what's out there. Are you?
