My self-summary
I love to make art. I came into this world with a pencil in hand and haven't put it down. Huge film fan. Beard connoisseur. Can turn a snow globe into a lava lamp.
What I’m doing with my life
Working during the day and drawing at night. I'm kind of like an artsy Batman.
I’m really good at
Drawing & laughing. cooking. scrabble. hiking. water-skiing. kickball. stenciling. singing along to music in my car.
I wouldn't say I'm a "Jack-of-all-trades." More like a "John-of-interesting-trivia." Or a "Jim-of-knowing-some-shit."
The first things people usually notice about me
With a full beard I have been called Zach Galifianakis.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Chuck Palaniuk, Neil Gaiman, Tom Robbins, Ernest Hemingway, Bret Easton Ellis, Tina Fey, Cormac McCarthy, Calvin & Hobbes

Movies: Spielberg, Pixar, Scorsese, Paul Thomas Anderson, Tarantino, Edgar Wright, Nolan, Kevin Smith, Coen Bros, Fincher, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Peter Jackson, Wes Anderson, Akira Kurosawa, Guillermo Del Toro, Terry Gilliam, Charlie Chaplin

TV: Arrested Development, Community, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Game of Thrones, Louis, Daily Show, Broad City, Rick and Morty, classic Looney Tunes, TED Talks

Shows: Comedians like Patton Oswalt, Doug Benson, Jim Jefferies, Louis CK, Hannibal Buress, plus a couple live shows here and there...

Music: A giant library of tunes. Podcasts are also a favorite listening genre; Nerdist, Radiolab, Greg Proops, and Harmontown are floating in the background while I draw.

Food: Sushi is a huge guilty pleasure, however anything new and intriguing will get me moving.
Six things I could never do without
Pencil and paper. Music. Family. Friends. A good book and a Spielberg flick would round out the list.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What film I need to see/ what book I haven't read/ what new thing I should be drawing...
On a typical Friday night I am
Walking around the city, getting lost and exploring. At a comedy show. Drawing and laughing with friends a bar. Catching the newest films that have just be released.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I confide a bit too much in my dog as if she understood or cared about what I was saying.
You should message me if
You have a good sense of humor.
You enjoy walking around talking about all manners of in depth topics, while at the same time giggling about little stupid things.
You like to hike/camp/water ski.
If film festivals and record stores are a passion.
King of the hill for a Queen of the damned.
