My self-summary
I am a down-to-earth, what-you-see-is-what-you-get kind of person. I like to dress up occasionally, but I'm most comfortable in jeans & a sweatshirt. I am not into the bar scene. I am a Christian & my faith is an important part of who I am, so it is important that my man share the same kind of faith & similar beliefs & values. I love to laugh, so a sense of humor is a must. I am a loyal, loving, & giving person and have a strong desire to have that special "someone" to care for & commit to.

Someone told me that the woman described in Brad Paisley's song "She's Everything" could be me. I consider this quite a compliment. Regardless of whether I DO share the same characteristics as the woman in the song, I want the kind of love that the song describes; I want a man who will genuinely feel that way about me, not just tell me he does to impress me or the church folks or his friends & their ladies. To be honest, I am beginning to doubt that that kind of love & that kind of man exist, but I won't settle for less--I've learned the hard way that there are things far worse than being single. I am happy with my life as it is, but I do yearn for someone to walk with me through the rest of my life & cherish along with me the memories we make. Is that you?
What I’m doing with my life

I’m really good at
Listening, cooking, encouraging others
The first things people usually notice about me
My smile.

The six things I could never do without
1. Jesus Christ
2. my Bernese Mountain Dog
3. fellowship with family & friends
4. humor
5. hugs/snuggles/cuddles/touches/human contact
6. salt :)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
how blessed I am & how much I have to be thankful for...
On a typical Friday night I am
at home snuggling on the couch with my dog while watching TV; or hanging out at a restaurant or movie theater with friends; or at a high school football game. I am not into the club/bar scene.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I make my dog "talk". Still here? How about this: one of my most prized possessions is a pair of Tim McGraw's jeans! :)
You should message me if
you are a single Christian man who has a great sense of humor; is honest, dependable, trustworthy, considerate, & intelligent; loves dogs; desires a relationship based on trust, communication, & mutual respect, as well as attention to one's physical & emotional needs; is secure enough to allow "me time" with friends; realizes that a great relationship requires 100% from each of us every day & is willing & able to invest that 100%; & can at least pretend to pull for my Cowboys. :)
