My self-summary
Cliff Notes: The woman I am looking for is smart, attractive, in great physical shape and not into playing games. If you don't exercise at least 4 times a week, we are not going to be a match. If you don't like dogs, we are not going to be a match. If you don't like music, we most likely are not going to be a match. If any of this sounds shallow, we simply have different interests and aren't compatible. If these qualities don't describe you, it's not likely that I will respond to your winks or emails. If any of this offends you, this is further evidence that we aren't a match, regardless of what this website may suggest.

If the above all checks out for you, here's a little more about me and what I'm looking for.

I'm a native of North Carolina, went to school in Boulder Colorado, lived in Boston for about 8 years and have been in LA for about 7. I'm extremely active and energetic, love all types of fitness and have run 10 marathons.

I consider myself the winner of the dog lottery every day I wake up, thanks to Steve my 7 pound chihuahua-italian greyhound rescue, the love of my life. He sleeps in my bed so if you have a problem with that, you can stop reading here.

I cook (only a few things, but they are really good), like to do dishes (yes, really) and most people who know me consider me to be very smart. My friends would describe me as loyal and trustworthy and I'm still close with most of my lifelong best friends, despite that none of them live in California.

I work as the VP of Technology at a company most people on this site probably think no longer exists. I am endlessly intrigued by people and the way they interact (or don't) and can people watch for hours at a time.

I'm a huge music fan and have seen hundreds of concerts. I'm always on time and don't complain about traffic. I'm a big tennis and golf fan, but don't play either one. That could change with the right person.

When in a relationship, I'm loyal and dedicated and give great massages. Physical attraction, chemistry and intimacy are very important to me.

I solve other people's problems extremely well, am extremely patient and actually listen.

I'm very focused on everything I do. I am capable of expressing my feelings and thoughts, have a tremendous appreciation for real, no frills communication and am drawn to intelligent, strong women. I have a unique but good sense of humor, appreciate sarcasm and love standup comedy and ridiculous movies.

I don't play dating games and though I am pretty shy at first, I wear my heart on my sleeve once the ice is broken.

On the purely superficial side, I always try to look my best and am well put-together most of the time. My pictures all look like me. I have been told countless times that I look like Andre Agassi so if you like his look, you'll probably like mine.

Finally, if we hit it off, I'll buy you flowers and your parents will love me. And you will love Steve.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
I am very intrigued by the way email, texts, instant messaging, etc. have changed the way people interact and relate to one another. The more access people have to each other, the less time they seem to truly communicate. The effects that this phenomenon has on families, friendships and romances is really interesting to me. I am generally really interested in many aspects of psychology, human interaction and behavior.
