My self-summary
I'm a smart Bay Area native looking for adventure and humor in a thoughtful, handsome man. I'm nice. Hopefully, you're nice as well. I've got my shit together. Fingers crossed you do too. The rest can be discussed over dinner or a drink🤓
What I’m doing with my life
I'm a middle school teacher, which is pretty badass. But don't worry-I won't criticize and correct your grammar. I *might* secretly judge you, though. Just please, for the love of Baby Jesus, use your damn apostrophes properly!
I’m really good at
Making people laugh, throwing dinner parties, drinking wine, writing, skiing, understanding/ analyzing confusing literature, walking most places in SF, cheering for the Giants, watching college football, being a fun aunt, and being a good friend. And I kick ass singing in the car on my way to work.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Just about any kind of fiction. Raymond Carver, Juniot Diaz, Calvino, Colm Toibin, Amanda Eyre Ward, Zadie Smith, Ta-Nehisi Coates, Twain. Cool and funky contemporary, and historical fiction. I'm a complete literary nerd.

The Party, The Big Lebowski, So I Married an Axe Murderer. Jeopardy, Stranger Things, Parks and Rec, Schitt's Creek, Graham Norton--anything that makes me laugh hard. The snarkier, the better.

I love seeing live shows. U2 to Black Crows to Willie Nelson to Wilco to The Lumineers to the Stones. Really big Tom Waits and Elvis Costello fan. My Spotify Daily Mix #5. New Wave.

I make a mean Sunday dinner, and I'm a good cook. Have no problems with vegetarians, I just don't want to be one. Standing in line for 45 minutes to purchase a $15 Acai Bowl seems wasteful on many levels. I don't always drink cocktails, but when I do, it needs bourbon, bitters, and a cherry.
Six things I could never do without
Pen and paper
Cowboy boots
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Metacognition 🤓
On a typical Friday night I am
Winding down from my week. I usually sneak in some exercise, and meet friends for a drink after work. Come home and make a badass dinner, open wine, watch bad TV. But Saturday, that's the money melon...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I have a fear of communal work refrigerators. Seriously.
You should message me if
You want to meet for a drink. Good luck!
