My self-summary
At least 80% snazzier than most.
Queer femme into all genders. Non monogamous/polyglamorous. Actually I most closely identify with relationship anarchy.

On a one woman mission to dispel the notion that performance art is just super serious people pissing and bleeding silently. I do interactive, colourful and (hopefully) funny pieces. Past explorations include mooncup origami, a past life dating booth, highly inaccurate fortune telling, being a human pass the parcel, a lot of stuff about narwhals, a chiptease..

Pretty heavily into social justice and attempting to smash the kyriarchy, feminist killjoy stuff etc

Also as well as possible romantic partners/bangs/whatever I am totally up for rad hangout times, probably way less awkward than dates anyway. Future friends make yourself known!
What I’m doing with my life
Two time art school dropout. I found that doing all the live art workshops was more useful.

Have recently started working as a film extra, my first role was as a completely typecast '80s lesbian', (I brought in my own dungarees but wasn't allowed to wear them.) Vague plan of pursuing this to make dolla but I have not yet received confirmation as to whether I have the elusive 'period face' required for historical dramas. Answers on a postcard.

Art-wise ideally I want to go back to performing in galleries, abandoned buildings and pubs around London like i used to to but undergoing that whole real life and capitalism thing at the moment after doing several horrible 9-5s and feeling like the only other options are squatting, being an academic or moving back with parents (none of which i can/want to do.) When not working I'm usually laying in bed on the internet and chuckling at the fact that dame, lord and lady are title options on the dole form..

Oh and also I am in a cult punk feminist choir with 22 other women.
I’m really good at
Bad jokes, dates (ha), finding treasures in the mysterious middle aisle in Lidl, having the best costume for the day.

I suck at scrabble and directions due to dyspraxia.

I have been told I am more graceful on ice than land, this is proof of my inner narwhal heritage.
The first things people usually notice about me
My eyebrows are a different colour each day depending on several factors. Also when I go out they are sometimes made of GEMS

I like to wear several different colours/prints/textures at once. More is more is my dress maxim.

I think I might be one of those annoying people who looks different in every picture and even more different in the flesh. surprise!
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Mainly things that pass the Bechdel Test, (er, apart from food).

Anything by Scarlett Thomas, Miranda July, zines that make me airpunch in agreement, David Sedaris, Augusten Burroughs, Diary of a Nobody, Angela Carter, A song of ice and fire, Woman on the edge of time, Jerome K Jerome.

Welcome to the Dollhouse, Ghost World, Mr Lonely, Enter the Void, Shortbus, Secretary, the films of Jean Painleve, My Winnipeg,a Matter of Life and Death, The Fall, John Waters, Grey Gardens.

Parks and Recreation, Game of Thrones, The Office US, Curb your enthusiasm, True Blood, Peep Show, Miranda, Nighty Night, Jam, Carnivale, RuPaul's Drag Race, Limmy's Show.

Most feminist post/punk bands, Angel Olsen, Cocorosie, Liz Phair, M.I.A, Joanna Newsom, Leslie and the Lys, Regina Spektor, the Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black, Patti Plinko, Trippple Nippples, Kimya Dawson, Femme Uke, Girls at Our Best, Bjork, Kate Bush, Metric, Patrick Wolf, Donna Summer, Ani DiFranco, Lydia Lunch, Amanda Palmer, Grimes, HOT FRUIT, Anna von Hausswolff.

Cake of all kinds, goats cheese, bagels, pickled things, Mexican. I do a lot of thinking about the perfect burrito
The six things I could never do without
intersectional feminism
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Social justice, how to get from one place to another, my Larry David-esque inner monologue.

I am a body acceptance activist, specifically into fat activism, I spend a lot of time thinking about the offensive bullshit people have to put up with in the guise of 'health concerns.'

I would love to meet fellow artfags/arters to collaborate with, do a giant ridiculously stupid time consuming project with, have adventures..
On a typical Friday night I am
at a performance event, participating enthusiastically or silently critiquing it. or disco dancing, or nothing, or something like having megaphone conversations with people from separate rooms.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I was born ginger

I often find myself dangerously close to clicking the 'I don't want to see or be seen by straight people' button on here from being sick of all the basic cishet men ..but i'm holdin out.
also related- i feel uncomfortable around large groups of straight people
You should message me if
you're not a douche.

basic bros- please think before you send that message to me and 299 other girls

Sometimes I find this site quite overwhelming and don't sign in for weeks at a time and suck at replying to messages. Sorry
-yeah about that, we all hate 1st messages that just say 'hi, sup' etc but i know how hard writing a perfectly witty and charming one is, so if we have some specific common interests (queer stuff, social justice/feminist stuff, art stuff) then just saying hi to start things off is fine

u want to irl with me
