My self-summary
Born and raised in the south by two northern parents. At the age of five I asked my dad who won the Civil War. He looked down at me and said 'we won, you lost.'

I came to NYC for college and have been here off and on for 15 years with detours in SF (I thought it'd be bigger) and Ann Arbor (Go Blue).

I swam in college and still race on (a rare) occasion. I love playing tennis and will run when chased.
What I’m doing with my life
After a long time in tech, I started a car service 5+ years ago that caters to families with young kids (with car seats in every vehicle). It is both more and less interesting than it sounds.
I’m really good at
Keeping the balls in the air.

The first things people usually notice about me
I'm one big recessive gene: Red hair, blue eyes, left handed.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Damages, Battlestar Galactica, Justified, Dexter, Mad Men, Scrubs, HofC, 30 Rock, Breaking Bad, I'm sure there's more.

Books: BW, VF, NYT, and some men's magazines.

Music: Pandora

Food: Yes
Six things I could never do without
Sunday mornings with the NY Times
Something to look forward to
Witty banter
Absolute Bagels
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Work. And world peace.

How great it is that the best hamburger in NYC is from a food cart on 63rd and Madison (I'm talking to YOU, Danny Meyer).

What Ok Cupid means by 'Conventionally Moral.'
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My age and height are accurate.

I have no patience for vegans (and only a little for Republicans).
You should message me if
You read the NYT and People magazine.
A little part of you dies whenever someone mentions Ayn Rand.
You like to make others laugh and think.
