My self-summary
I am a Jedi like my father before me. No, that's not true, my father was never a Jedi.

I, like everyone else who writes in this section, have no idea what to put. So here's some info that i think might be of some use. I just moved to Washington state after 30 years in Georgia. I'm glad I got out. I was miserable half the year. So here I am in Edmonds and loving it.

Even though I live here in the PNW, I might be the only one who is NOT real outdoorsy. Weird, I know.

I don't know a lot of people here in Washington, and I'd like to change that. So if you'd like to geek out, all the better. Like everyone else, I don't pay for this so I can't see likes.
What I’m doing with my life
Graduation achievement unlocked.

Living the dream... Now if only i could figure out who's dream this is.

I would consider myself a bit of a nerd/geek/dork.

I'm not sure what section to put this in, but this is as good as any. I recently discovered KEXP and love it. It's so nice to not hear the same 12 to 16 songs all day. I really like positive vibrations.

As for what I want to do when I "grow up", I have no idea. I like making things though.

Trying to decide how I feel about this love/hate addiction I seem to have to OKC.

I also like comic books.

I'd like to get into puppetry, but I'm just not sure how. I LOVE Jim Henson. On a related note, Keith Haring made some awesome stuff too, you should check it out.
I’m really good at
I'd like to think I'm an excellent nap taker, giving hugs, procrastinating and getting overwhelmed, stating the obvious, making puns, being sarcastic, and taking up space. i'm quite good at that. I'm also pretty good at being in the way. being oblivious, seriously, you might have to come right out and let me know if I'm being flirted with [I'm that oblivious].

I'm pretty good at making sockmonkeys.

I haven't done it in a while, but I could still probably put together a pretty killer mix cd.

Procrastinating on folding laundry.

Yelling at the TV during sporting events.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm humanoid? I have arms and legs? My hair is unkept? I'm loud? I'm not loud? My eyes? My lack of an ass? My visible tattoo? I have no idea. What did *you* first notice?
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Just a few cause I feel like I keep adding to this novel.
(A)HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Sandman, Good Omens, The Alienist, Curse of The Full Moon. American Gods was awesome. I'm a big fairy tales guy. I'd rather read the original version. On a related note, I've just started the 'Wizard of Oz'.

(B)almost anything from Tim Burton or Kevin Smith...Groove, The Crow, Muppets from Space (almost any muppets really. I mean, my nickname is Muppett.), Interstate 60, Ace The Zombie [it's really good, plus as a bonus, I was in it], Serenity, Blues Brothers, Airplane, Pan's Labrinth, Across the Universe, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, The Dark Side of Oz, Ziggy Starfighter []...I enjoy horror movies: The Beast of Bray Road, Trick 'r' Treat. I'll add some more when I think of them.

Some of the bands I like:

The Bastard Suns, Blue Oyster Cult, Flogging Molly, They Might Be Giants, Dropkick Murphy's, Jimi Hendrix, The Epoxies, Social D., Op. Ivy, Rancid. Rusted Root, some '80's alternative. Bunch of '90's stuff, Crash Test Dummies, Garbage, STP, Linkin Park, Carbon Leaf, 2 Cellos, Lindsey Stirling, Beebs And Her Money Makers, and The Asteroids Galaxy Tour, been getting back into trance lately

Tv: Twin Peaks was so weird, I loved season 1. Who's line is it whenever I can catch it. Robotech, Psych, Warehouse 13, Eureka, The Guild [does that count as tv?], Firefly, Buffy, Hemlock Grove, Lost Girl, Doctor Who is a fun way to spend free time, though between every week being the end of the world and Bill letting anyone who will listen that she's a lesbian...blah, it's lost its appeal. Torchwood was pretty good, though I never saw 'Miracle Day'. Top Gear [UK]. I've enjoyed what little I've seen of 'Being Human [UK]. Just finished Jessica Jones... Better than Daredevil, but not sure that's really hard to do...

Let's add one more: Video Games. I'm an RPG kinda guy. At the moment, Guild Wars 2 is what I'm playing the most. I also love the Diablo games. I'm also playing Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines again. Yes, it came out 10 years ago. It has a loving fanbase who has kept it alive. I've just started 'The Wolf Among Us', it's set in the world of 'Fables'. When I had my Xbox [the stupidly heavy one], I had games like Voodoo Vince, Jet Set Radio Future, and Crimson Skies.

All that being listed, I'm not sure if that really tells you who I am as a person.
Six things I could never do without
This feels like it needs an upgrade too. So here goes... And in no particular order:

Good friends
A way to listen to a baseball game
A book and a charged up Kindle.
I have realized that I like being able to get online... Like probably too much.
Not sure what else needs to go in this section, but I'll put more than six if needed. Take that OKC!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How phrases like 'cut my teeth' and ' it's raining cats and dogs' came to be. And then my mind undoubtedly takes it literally.
What the hell is NSPP or whatever this new fangled acronym that's being thrown around is: Negated Stocky Photographic Platypus? Apparently it's ALSO not Nostalgicly Separated Prehistoric Pandas.

If I'll ever actually ever make my Alex In Wonderland costume. [Part of it is my lack of sewing ability]

How I can best do my part to help the environment.

How the word 'epic' is used so much, it no longer has the same meaning.

What is with xx_the taco or xx_the cat at the end of usernames.

How does this site figure out the amount of matching?

Why the really groovy people that might be cool to meet live so damn far away.
On a typical Friday night I am
I don't really have a Friday night plan. Or any other night of the week really. The lack of a car makes this a bit challenging, but if you give me a reason, I'll find a way.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like Bob Dylan long as they are not sung by him. Also, I don't like avocados.
You should message me if
Um, i don't want to? You'd like to go get a beer. You have some awesome thing you'd like to show me. You have an idea for a superhero sock monkey.
You've read this far? Woohoo, but do be warned, I actually do know which word to use when, but being that I'm on my phone, it sometimes likes to auto-correct and put the wrong tense. So if send you a message with the wrong tense or word, please realize it probably just slipped past me.
