My self-summary
My general attitude walks the fine line between emotional intensity and playful indifference. I don’t believe that there’s just one way to feel about the happenings of my life and the world around me, so I feel free to define myself in the moment and not by some emotional rulebook previously laid out for me.

I do not to take myself too seriously. Life’s an interesting journey and it’s a lot more fun when you’re laughing. I’ve learned many things only to forget them, learn them again, and once again forget them. Some wiser people than myself may perhaps find this circular pattern frustrating, but I gain comfort in knowing that as much as things change they ultimately stay the same…
What I’m doing with my life
When I am not nursing, you can find me exploring the city by bike, surfing at Ocean Beach, playing Ultimate Frisbee in the park, tinkering on my ukulele, or making bad art. I am known to disappear amidst the rocks, trees, and streams that are hidden away in the sprawling spaces that are California’s state and national parks. My happy place is a gurgling creek in a forest.
