My self-summary
I was helping out at a speed dating event (not participating), and the guy in charge said I was "extremely friendly and aggressively awesome." Yeah, that's pretty much me.
What I’m doing with my life
I've worked as a software engineer in advertising in Manhattan, and now I'm working on API integrations of transportation companies. In short, I'm a computer guy.
I’m really good at
Technology, logical thinking, listening, being earnestly generous, and random trivia. I can also solve a Rubik's Cube in about three minutes.
The first things people usually notice about me
The first thing is probably my energy. I'm pretty passionate, loud, and like to make sure people are laughing and having a good time.

The second thing might be my blue eyes. My parents both have brown eyes, so it's a pretty unique trademark.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Lots of technology and programming languages books, The Tao of Pooh, the Harry Potter series, American on Purpose (Craig Ferguson's autobiography), but I also can enjoy more classical works, Tennyson being a favorite author.

Movies: I like many in the comedy genre (read: Mel Brooks) and superhero genre (Avengers, The Dark Knight, Ant-Man), as well as recent Sorkin movies The Social Network and Moneyball. There are a lot of movies, and really, too many to list.

Shows: More than the movies. I have a bunch of older TV shows on a storage server, but as for shows on TV now: The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Arrow, Person of Interest, Family Guy, Conan, and more.

Music: Same thing as movies: too many to list. Some of my favorites include movie scores, 80s music, classic rock, and other random bands and songs.

Food: Chinese food, barbecue/grill/American, seafood, and more. If I had to choose one specific dish? The pizzeria across the street from my old high school has the BEST buffalo chicken pizza…but if I'm in the city, there's this nice Japanese curry place.
The six things I could never do without
1.) My family, including Kira my puppy.
2.) My friends and coworkers.
3.) The Internet
4.) My iPhone
5.) My MacBook Pro/iPad mini.
6.) Some sort of ambient noise.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What's going on in the sports world (I listen to sports podcasts while I work and commute), how to grow and develop as a programmer, how things and systems can work more efficiently, how to make myself better in all different aspects.
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually it's just a relatively quiet night in, watching some television, have my laptop open, catching up on work, shows, or other loose ends from the week. When it's baseball season, I may turn on the Mets game, regardless of what day it is. Sometimes I even go out with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I would love to be a late night talk show host, or at least a writer for one. I love comedy, humor, improv situations, and late night talk shows. I could come up with crazy antics to make people happy.
You should message me if
You are looking for a guy who has his priorities sorted or want to find somebody who you can enjoy life with.
