My self-summary
I am an outgoing, caring person whose mission in life is to help others and make the world a better place than before I arrived. I believe that a life is not important, except in the impact it has on other lives.

I try to look for something new and exciting, I am not interested in the same old dull routine. No games, honesty.

I am looking for something more than just ordinary. Let's be adventerous together.
What I’m doing with my life
I relocated back to Rochester and spending the last two years in Indiana working in higher education. After growing up, going to college, and starting my career in New York State. It was time for a new opportunity and chapter in my life. Now I am ready to come back to the area.

I went back to school to get certified to teach special education and mathematics. I have focused on my students and career, rather than myself. I love the opportunity to be a part of something that is bigger than myself and helping students at a crucial time in their life is enjoyable.

I full believe that "A life is not important except in the impact it has on other lives", this is a quote from Jackie Robinson that I tend to use when I think about my experiences and my journey to teaching.

If I didn't like solving puzzles and wanted an easy job, I would have a different career path.
I’m really good at
Being compassionate
Thinking outside the box
Having a sense of wonder and amazement.
The first things people usually notice about me
I would like to say something witty here, but it probaby is my humor/sarcasm.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
When I am not reading my life away for work and academia. I really enjoy off beat humor, some of my favortie authors are David Sedaris, Christopher Buckley and Nick Hornby. (I am still looking for my first edition of High Fidelity - one in English).
I just finished a book about the history of professional mascots, which was a strange but enjoyable read.

I would like to consider myself a movie buff - Some of my favorites are High Fidelity, Little Miss Sunshine, Stranger Than Fiction, Wet Hot American Summer, Moneyball and Miracle.

Music - I love Guster, Ben Lee, Counting Crows, OAR, Jason Mraz, Ben Folds Five, Mike Doughty, and more recently I am really been into Eli 'Paperboy' Reed and the True Loves, Spoon, and Grace Potter and the Nocturnals
My music collection is unique in that I could get from The Beatles, Ben Folds Five, Kayne West and 70s soul music in less than an hour. We all need a little taste of the simple things in life.

In terms of food, I am usually open to most things. Never been a seafood fan so other than that the sky is the limit. I am trying to learn how to make my own beer and learn the science and process behind it.
Six things I could never do without
My Phone (organizes everything and has some great music on there)
Opening Day of Baseball
Quality Craft Beer
Good Coffee
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The endless possibilities of a new opportunity.
Where I was, where I am going, was this the best plan for me?
"My dare to be great moment in life...."
"Has the world turned and left me here?" (Name the band that lyric is from)
On a typical Friday night I am
Probably getting caught up on sleep after a busy week of teaching,
the movies,
in the summer the baseball game (I have a summer job there)
enjoying the little things in life.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I sing to music in my car and I am proud to admit that.
Also, I like to blare really bizzare music or NPR just to confuse the other drivers at the stop light.
You should message me if
you are also lookng for more than just the same old song and dance.
