My self-summary
Brandon. I'm 28 (at least for the next month). Despite my age, I don't really consider myself an adult quite yet. I still possess somewhat of a a childhood innocence. I'd rather stay in watching TV/playing video games than going out to the bar/club and getting drunk every night. I still love the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. And I definitely have a nerdy side. Avid music lover, which Spotify is really useful for letting everyone know what I listen to as guilty pleasures of mine.

Stand-up Comedian. Poet. Writer. Aspiring Filmmaker. Nerdy. Gentleman.
What I’m doing with my life
Right now, I work in a bakery. On the side I moonlight as a stand-up comedian. I like to write all sorts of things (jokes, lyrics, stories) and would like to be a filmmaker one day. I also have these ongoing ideas for a novel that I haven't written yet. It's about...(like I was really just going to tell you my whole idea, maybe you can get it out of me once we start talking).
I’m really good at
I'd love to say I'm really good at making people laugh (which I am at times). I've always joked with myself that if and when I record an album of my stand-up I'd title it, "Kinda Funny, Some of the Time".

I'm usually really good at rambling off random stuff I've learned on the internet. I don't know if I'd say I'm really book smart or street smart. But I am internet smart.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Fault In Our Stars, Paper Towns, Sleepwalk with Me, The Catcher In The Rye, Harold and the Purple Crayon

Music: I listen to a little bit of everything, but some of my favorites are Dashboard Confessional, Alice In Chains, Tool, The Beatles, Hall & Oates, Story of the Year, Parabelle, 10 Years, Crobot.

Movies: I love the films of John Hughes, Kevin Smith and Judd Apatow. I have a rather expansive movie collection. So there's not much I won't watch.

Shows: Big Bang Theory, The Tonight Show, How I Met Your Mother, Family Guy, Comic Book Men, Tosh.0, Girl Meets World (as a fan of Boy Meets World, this is more for the nostalgia).

Food: I will for the most part, try anything once. Except for the stuff they had to eat on Fear Factor. I mean, unless I find myself on Feat Factor. Then I guess I'd have to try it.
The six things I could never do without
Sense of Humor
Pen and a Notebook
Family & Friends
(Insert a 6th thing that would make us have more in common here...jk)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
The Past
The Present
The Future (I know, this one just came out of left field)
My Fantasy Football team (it's not as bad as you might think)
Retro video games from my childhood (I've started to accumulate somewhat of a collection).
On a typical Friday night I am
Doing the same thing I do every night. Trying to take over the world.

Realistically, most likely working. If not, probably hanging out with friends or family grabbing dinner or catching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I cried during "The Fault In Our Stars".
I liked Jim Carrey in "The Cable Guy".
I prefer Backstreet Boys over N'Sync.

I'll admit more if you feel like asking.
You should message me if
You should message me if any of this sounds even remotely interesting to you.

You should especially message me if we have similar things in common and this site says we'd be a good match. I mean, isn't that why we're here?

If you message me, more often than not, I will usually reply back.
I'm always up for a good conversation and I look forward to making new friends and expanding my social circle.
