My self-summary
I'm an optimist, happy in my skin, considerate of others, approachable, engaging, confident but not arrogant, relaxed and VERY easy going, I've got good manners, pay attention, am more old fashioned than new fashioned. I communicate well, am humble enough to be taught, I believe laughter really is the best medicine, it's healthy, it's happy, it's free and it's infectious.
What I’m doing with my life
The kindest things I can possibly do. I produce live music here in the Southern Oregon area. Booking festivals, Vineyards, clubs and special events. I have a small organic farm on 11 acres in the countryside on the outskirts of town. Growing chile peppers has been a love of mine for many years. Over time I have developed dry spice blends, 3 flavors of BBQ sauce and Caribbean style hot sauce. I work as a handyman, operate heavy equipment with my father on occasion and sell heavy equipment online. 5 Hats. I have 2 beautiful children who live in Portland with their mom. They have my heart but there is space left. Would you like to make a reservation?
I’m really good at
Writing, Communicating and listening
Cooking, Farming/Gardening
getting to know strangers
striking up a conversation
Being a gentle soup nazi :-p
Keeping people guessing and laughing
And a whole bunch of other stuff
You're gonna have to search me out
The first things people usually notice about me
That I am approachable, friendly, talkative and generally always in a good mood. I love kids, babies and most folks dogs...
(and they love me too)
I am happy about my life. Attitude is everything and enthusiasm is contagious.

Favorite Quote: “You don't love someone for their looks, or their clothes, or for their fancy car, but because they sing a song only you can hear.” - Oscar Wilde.... Nice Huh?
The six things I could never do without
Companionship with friends and family, Music in general. Especially live music. The mountains, rivers and streams that surround the beautiful place where I live. Having satisfying work to do each day. I can't live without Avocados (did I mention that?)....And finally, the sixth thing I don't want to do without is the sweetness that comes with romance and the wonderful dance that follows
I spend a lot of time thinking about
How to help keep Clinton out and get Bernie in.
Kale, Frisbee, Knitting, Cabbage, Volleyball, Bulldozer parts, Spring gardening, Whirled order.....Also GMO labeling, good soil, permaculture, how to restring a tennis racket, Scrabble, Crater Lake, Pho..... being in love again. .....There are a few others....Daydream travels...Moorea, New Zealand and other warm climates with sandy beeches! Where would you like to go? Avocados....
On a typical Friday night I am
Making Guacamole. Listening to live music....And...wondering when I might be listening and dancing with someone cute and magical...Is it you?
Having friends over for dinner....Going out to try a new restaurant.
Packing the truck with the canoe and camping stuff.
I'm open to new ideas ....what should we do?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
Long, Long ago.......I was running naked through a busy Avocado orchard.....
You should message me if
You feel like I've mentioned Avocados way too many times.
If anything you've read resonates with you.
If you enjoy the simple things in life.
If you like spontaneity and adventure.
If you are seeking a truly down to earth man in your life.
If you understand the long term benefits of being friends first.
I'd love to hear from you I'm sure!
