My self-summary
I recently transitioned from the world of animal health care to the world of human health care and am navigating the life changes that's brought. I get excited about teaching dogs, hiking new trails, objects that are both beautiful and utilitarian, watching beloved shows or movies with someone who's never seen them before, 3 day weekends, closing my eyes in the sunshine, and donuts.

I like myself pretty well and I spend a lot of time solo. I'm open to the idea of a partnership, and while monogamy works for some people, it's not the only way to have a successful relationship. I've had success with flexible and well-communicated boundaries and am willing to talk about it.
What I’m doing with my life
I work in a compounding pharmacy, making sterile injectables while wearing a white suit like the bad guys in ET. I'm still processing the emotional upheaval of leaving my dream career in animal sheltering. I plan to get back into dog training this summer, and in the meantime I'm focusing on raising an adolescent border collie mix, which some days feels like a second full time job.
I’m really good at
Cutting hair, teaching dogs, teaching people, telling the truth, procrastinating, being 5 minutes late, staying calm, noticing details, listening, recognizing my own limits.
The first things people usually notice about me
My chest tattoo, probably.

I pick my nose. You do it too.
You should message me if
you like to discuss semantics, you can write in English without butchering it, you're not afraid to be kind of weird but you're not socially awkward either, you believe that "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy," you are polite to those who serve you, and you want to fall in love.
