My self-summary
*Recent NYC transplant; have that 'new in town' sheen. I know I don't know you, or these places you're talking about, but you all seem really nice.
*My favorite playlist is my Sunday playlist. My late night/after-party mix is a close second.
*I like thinly populated beaches for good thinking time. But a big porch and a dog will do just fine.
*often thought of as 'good people'.
*mildly handsome in the right light.
What I’m doing with my life
Shining a small flashlight into financial underworlds, thinking about nice vacations, cross-procrastinating. Trying to spend more lovely evenings in beer soaked music halls, hidden corners, arcades, libraries, theaters, and organ concerts.

I have been a journalist and radio producer in the past, and gradually aspire to return to these fields. The economics of this is tricky.
I’m really good at
Joke hang time.
Unpacking an idea or position.
Setting up a nice afternoon.
Nerd hot talk.
Enjoying the quiet.
Faffing about.
The first things people usually notice about me
...maybe you can tell me what that more of/less of list on the right says. I just saw one where it said that all the other people I might like were all "more thrifty." The ones who are "less loving" seem to have it bad; possessing so little love, that even an algorithm needs to call them out. I hope it doesn't say that.

homemade fruit soda
The whiskey family, and other things to put in a tumbler
The ocean (i do, but grudgingly)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Sounds, tones, astrophysics, and the state of American politics.
You should message me if
*You are the kind sort, and have a wit as dry as the driest orange soda.
*you want to use me for my free admittance to some nice museums.
*you want to read books in the same room.
*dj nights at the Museum of Natural History strike your fancy.
*none of these things matters really, just liking each other and being a good sport is definitely my style.
