I try my damnedest to be a nice, decent, thoughtful person and value those things in the people around me.
I don't want to mean everything to someone, it's too much pressure. I want to find connections to augment my already rad life and I want to add some spice to someone who's content with hers as well. Well beyond casual but not some fairy-tale BS.
I spend the summers going to music festivals, dancing my face off and writing about it.
- The movie "Teen Wolf" is racist allegory for White peoples' deep-seeded fear of powerful Black men.
- I love books, but don't get going on them enough. Please, give me a recommendation...a good biography, societal non-fiction or a good sci-fi would be lovely.
-Common use of language and how it relates to oppression, discrimination, misogyny, etc. Being a hip-hop fan, this is constantly on my mind in regards to music I like to listen to. Also, how is it possible that there is a piece of clothing people named after domestic violence? It's a tank top or an undershirt. There are always better words.
-The intersection of sex, emotions, power and the trading of, therein.
-Problems with our systems of food productions and distribution.
-How amazing it is that we're lucky enough to not only be alive on this Earth, but to be alive in places that have so many privileges.
-We are on a rock hurtling millions of miles per hour through fucking OUTER SPACE.
-Consciousness, God and the nature of reality.
-How FUCKING SILLY all of this is.
Solo dance parties in the basement are always an option too.
-You don't believe in modern love.
-You aren't looking for someone to "complete you" or some such nonsense.
-You want to go out dancing!
-You can help me learn to hula-hoop.
-You want smoke joints and listen to hip-hop, breaks, soul, house or anything groovy. Especially hip-hop. (Joints not the least bit essential.)
