My self-summary
I’m kind of quiet until you get to know me. After that…I’m still kind of quiet, but with much more conviction. I enjoy pub trivia, camping, rambling conversations, oxford commas, and the beach. I read the news more than is healthy, and almost crashed into Barack Obama in a hallway once. I really value good company and would rather have five close friends than fifty casual ones. If any of that sounds like fun, we'll probably get along.
What I’m doing with my life
Against all odds, I seem to have the whole degree, job, place to live thing under control. I'd like to tell you I'm basically Ben Wyatt for a living, but I'd be lying. I do try to work in socially conscious fields provided they can halfway pay the bills.
I’m really good at
Thinking up something clever to say five minutes after the moment is gone.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Anything by Mark Twain, American Gods, Snow Crash, Vonnegut, Catch-22, More Terry Pratchett than is probably healthy, Whatever I can get for a dollar at a used bookstore.

Oh Brother Where Art Thou, Pulp Fiction, Ratatouille, Moonrise Kingdom, Ong Bak, Cabin in the Woods, Nightcrawler, 28 Days Later.

Rick and Morty, Community, Firefly, Better Call Saul, Game of Thrones, Buffy, The West Wing, Jessica Jones, Futurama, The Wire, Bob's Burgers.

Jack White, Modest Mouse, OK Go, Flogging Molly. I honestly don’t know music that well, but I’m always happy to hear suggestions.
The six things I could never do without
Stupid jokes
Books on paper
BBC News
Questionable U-turns
I spend a lot of time thinking about
"Nobody exists on purpose, nobody belongs anywhere, everybody's gonna die. Come watch tv?" and other words of wisdom I get from cartoons.
On a typical Friday night I am
Gentrifying someplace.

What the hell. Give it a shot.
