My self-summary
I'm at a point in my life where I'd genuinely like to meet someone decent and attractive, who shares my interests, values and general outlook on life. I'm generous by nature. People have told me I'm quite articulate, a great conversationalist and a good friend. I have a tremendous sense of humor. I consider laughter to be one of our greatest gifts and I believe we should take advantage of it as often as possible. I'd like to meet someone who can be my companion, my escort, my friend, and if something more should develop, so much the better. It would be nice if we shared views on certain things, but differing views can also prove interesting. Physical attraction is certainly important, but not everything. There needs to be an attraction at a deeper level. I'm talking about "that certain something" you can't quite put your finger on, but the moment it happens, you know it.
I've always been artistically inclined and as such, enjoy going to museums, people watching and even doing a little creative writing in my spare time. I keep myself fit, but I'm not a fanatic about it. I've been wanting to take up golf and who knows, maybe I will someday soon.
I love good Italian restaurants (I'm Italian myself, so I think I know what "good" means). I enjoy NYC... so much to do, so much to see... so much to experience. From something as simple as a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge... to dinner and a show.
What I’m doing with my life
I'm holding down a job that I enjoy and I work with some really great people. I have a very positive outlook on life. My past experiences have taught me that your circumstances can change in the blink of an eye and that one should never assume or take anything for granted. I'm confident though that my life is only going to get better.

To quote one of my favorite movie lines ~ "Who knows what the tide could bring?"
I’m really good at
Trivia and minutia... I basically know the answers to a lot of questions, and although interesting, it usually is relatively useless information... lol

Oh, and being a good friend
The first things people usually notice about me
My sense of humor
My height
The color of my eyes (they're kind of a "pea soup" green)
That I'm a "southpaw"

I also enjoy those tacky Grade "Z" horror and sci-fi flicks from the 50's with those "cheesey", cheap special effects. They're priceless!

Seinfeld, King of Queens, The Big Bang Theory, Everybody Loves Raymond, Jeopardy, Two and a Half Men, Soprano's, Boardwalk Empire, Mad Men, Family Guy, Law and Order: SVU (Love Mariska Hargitay), original Star Trek reruns, Lidia's Italy, Antenna TV, the Food Channel (I like "Diners, Drive-ins & Dives"), and of course... The Honeymooner's

I'm all over the map, musically....
Sinatra, The Beatles, James Taylor, Billy Joel, Motown, almost anything 60's or 70's, British Invasion, Doo Wop, Rob Thomas, Diana Krall, Five for Fighting, Earth Wind & Fire, Nat "King" Cole, Martina McBride, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Steely Dan, Allison Krauss & Union Station, The Doors, Van Morrison, Maroon 5, Billie Holiday, Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Spinners, Stylistics, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes, Foreigner, Gershwin's 'Rhapsody in Blue'... and I love Jazz. Just think Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Herbie Hancock, Dave Brubeck, etc., (you know, the really good stuff)

Believe it or not, I'm actually reading the original novel of "The Godfather". I've seen the films so many times, I can recite a lot of the dialogue, word for word. But I finally decided to get the book and actually READ it, and I'm glad I did

grilled salmon, quesadillas, a warm bagel with butter, pretzels, pasta and greens, whole grains, "naked" sweet potatoes, olive oil, greek yogurt, Nonni's almond biscotti with a cup of coffee
Six things I could never do without
Oxygen, water, my thumbs, my sense of humor, my wonderful family, Christmas Time... There's actually a seventh thing, but I don't know whether I should mention it here
I spend a lot of time thinking about
What do dogs do with themselves when no one's home?

If you were traveling at the speed of light and you turned your headlights on... would anything happen?

Do vegetarians eat animal crackers?

How come if my car is clean and it rains, the rain gets it dirty and if it's dirty and it rains, the rain gets it clean?

If cops arrest a mime... do they bother to tell him he has the right to remain silent?

How life seems to be going by, more quickly all the time
On a typical Friday night I am
Thinking to myself ~ "Wow... it's Friday already".
Usually, I'm either home relaxing at the end of the long work week, or maybe meeting a friend for dinner somewhere... but no set schedule really
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I don't want to go it alone
You should message me if
You're serious about the possibility of starting a new and exciting relationship with a genuinely nice guy

You have clear and recent pictures posted (preferably more than one)
