My self-summary
My life is good. Most of my free time goes towards my two robotics startups.

I am looking for an intellectual, someone who likes to talk (Not necessarily an expert) about random stuff like neuroscience, biology, sailing, art, robotics, engineering, math, Linux, computer science. Someone who is interested in learning.

I have phone banked for Bernie. If you have strong feelings that someone bought and paid for should be president we aren't compatible. If you don't know what Bernie is about please message me.
What I’m doing with my life
I graduated from Mercer with a masters in computer engineering. May
2013.

I worked at a sweet awesome day job for a while then switched to creating a startup. I race sailboats (thistles) and play with fire poi.

I am on the board of a tech based nonprofit in town.

I'm trying to make the world a better place with my projects.
I’m really good at
Making/Fixing things
Engineering and Math
Sailing
Fire Poi
Destroying Audiobooks (51 nonfiction books in 2015)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: Consciousness and the social brain, Debt the first 5000 years, Confessions of an economic hit-man, Signal in the noise, The Power of habit, Thinking Fast and Slow, On Intelligence, Life's Ratchet, everything by Chomsky, everything by Malcolm Gladwell, everything by Nicholas Taleb.

Food: Greek, Sushi, Hole in the wall Asian food, Soylent

Music: Indie, Classic Rock, Electronic, Vitamin String Quartet

Sports: Sailing, Fire Dancing

I have real fandoms in Movies, TV, anime, fiction, video games, DnD, and stuff.
Lately I have found that say, given the choice to watch the newest season of Dr Who or design and make a new flexible robotic hand, spending time making things is just more fun. Maybe that's heretical?

But in the rare case that I don't have something more fun to do, I like
Valve, Big Bang Theory, Hitchhiker's guide (The books), V for Vendetta, Trigun, and lots of other stuff.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Why we haven't solved problems like hunger and homelessness?
What is going to happen when we automate everything?
How the world could move to a post scarcity society peacefully?
How to make robots mainstream.
Flexible robotics
Machine Learning
Brains
Electronics
On a typical Friday night I am
Usually making something,
usually with big power tools,
sometimes with alcohol.
Sometimes with fire! Muahaha!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm ticklish :P

I'm kinky and a switch, its not everyone's thing though and that's alright.
You should message me if
Just do it.

I dare you... :P
