My self-summary
I am a reflective, understanding, and sociable guy.
I like to believe that you one can keep growing and learning all through one's life, and that it is always great to find opportunities to find out unsuspected aspects of one's own mind and make oneself more valuable for both oneself and others.
What I’m doing with my life
I am an open-minded, sweet, honest, cultured and well-travelled guy. After having lived for several years in other countries, I am staying in my home country Brazil for a while. I have my hedonistic side, but I also like to work out hard, and keep myself in great shape. I sometimes like enjoying the nightlife in good company, but if I had to choose I would rather stay home reading or watching a good film, which can range from a great European arthouse piece to the latest disposable Hollywood comedy. I can also enjoy cooking or gardening, etc., either in the company of my partner or a few selected friends. Having now obtained my PhD in German philosophy from Cambridge, I am excited about the idea of becoming a professional academic or reaching a position in the corporate world, where I can apply the ideas I have been developing at the intellectual level.
I’m really good at
making eye contact with German Shepherds.
The first things people usually notice about me
My accent, which is 85% Brazilian, 15% British.

The six things I could never do without
Family

Books
Music
A nice place to run
A quiet room to sleep
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Trying to make sure that next time I go to bed I will feel I am a better human being.
On a typical Friday night I am
Preparing to go for a concert or a movie with good company.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I like to listen to a few specific Abba songs when I am going through occasional melancholic periods.
You should message me if
you would like to chat and laugh over a cup of coffee.
