My self-summary
Pretty set in my ways. Easy going and a bit quirky. Creative and kind.

Self-employed, single-dad with a solid core of buddies.
Always keeping an eye out for my family and friends, with roots here, my parents and sister (and her family) are very close and dear to me.

I'm confident in my abilities. I'm responsible and trustworthy.
Life-long Bay Area guy. Got a lot of love to give.
What I’m doing with my life
The ongoing quest for greatness... Striving to strike a balance between the stuff that must be done, and the stuff that tickles my fancy.

I do consulting for litigation presentation. It's always interesting. Got the home-office thing happening, which helps keep me sane. Road-rage was often the result of my commute to SF, and eliminating that from my day-to-day routine was such a positive shift. Working from home can get a bit too quiet however.

In my free time lately I've been re-purposing old wood and finding mirrors that need new frames. Craigslist free stuff is where treasure can be found!
I’m really good at
D.I.Y. projects and gardening are cool.

I'm a good listener..

I'm good at being enthusiastic about new ideas... I tend to get started on a new project before finishing the previous one. Besides that, I'm really good at cooking banana bread. Actually, no recipe is too complicated. Love cooking. Lasagna? Done! Chocolate chip cookies? Oh yeah.

I'm also good at finding the silver lining in a tough situation. Good at golf. Good at making new friends at parties. I'm good at re-arranging a room. Ya know, my grandfather taught me at a young age, if you're going to do something, do it to your absolute best ability. That stuck with me.

I'm good at making you laugh, too!
The first things people usually notice about me
I rock the uni-brow.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Love to start my day with KCSM jazz 91 and a strong cup of coffee. After that the music stays on all day, Slacker radio is awesome.

Other music and stuff? A very small sampling, in no particular order... The Shins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foo Fighters, Mother Hips, Mellow Orange, Tribe Called Quest, Thievery Corporation, Miles Davis, Reggie Watts, NPR, In-N-Out!!!

I'm a typical guy that likes to watch sports on TV. Plus, i love the Discovery Channel. But, I know how to turn it off.
The six things I could never do without
coffee, music, Sierra Nevada, laughter, family, my camera.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Often, I find myself asking, "Why'd they put so much f'ing tuna-salad on this sandwich"???!!!! Seriously. Who needs that much?? Other than that, my internal dialogue is pretty chatty. I do spend a lot of time thinking about which direction the light is coming from and how it might fall across a form... What time the sunset is... How much longer I can procrastinate the laundry. You know, normal stuff.
On a typical Friday night I am
Typically enjoying myself. Here's the thing, every other Friday night I'm free (single-dude). The opposite Friday nights I'm all booked up (Single-dad). It works well. Keeps me focused on balance.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
My palms get hella sweaty when I'm nervous.
You should message me if
Communication is fun. Try it.
